Despite the previous posters comments I purchased the Audio Book. And
I loved it. It really works. I have become a more relaxed and peaceful
person. Do I understand how it works? Is it entertaining? No and no.
But that doesn't bother me, I just care about results. I think the
previous poster's problem is that she DID NOT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.
It clearly states to listen to listen for EIGHT MINUTES a day (as
apposed to the "entire audio one night"). No wonder there was not time
for the message to "get absorbed". Seriously, if you take a whole
bottle of aspirin for a headache, as apposed to the instructed "one to
two tablets", don't complain if you get a bigger headache!!!
I was looking for a guided meditation, and although it has a couple short ones, I just didn't appreciate the overall format. He gives some trite examples of people who didn't let things bother them, which I found annoying.
I listened to entire audio one night....next morning, my poor husband got to hear me rant. This was the most comical attempt as a relaxation book i've ever heard/read. The worst part is when author starts rattling off odd visuals that do not connect with one another, nor does he pause to even let you absorb it...He writes mostly in the "mystical" without any concrete tips of how the heck to relax!!!! Yikes!
