No need to bring Donald Trump into it

O matter if you like him or not why is it in this book?????

Other than that I thought it was a good book.

More than I expected

I expected this to be all "puppy talk" but it was so much more. It truely gives insight to why dogs do the things they do and how they read us and the things we do. I've been a dog lover for decades and shared my home with dogs most of my life, but still learned a lot from this book. It's full of useful information for anyone who lives with, works with, or just loves dogs - of any age. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Good book, terrible delivery

The reading of this book so bland it's hard listen to. Buy the book, NOT the Audible

Everything you need to know

Great book. I learned much more than I expected! I love how they used real situations from their veterinary clinic as examples of different behavioral and health problems. You can definitely tell that they are professionals.

Good Book, Good Reader

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Good general book about all different aspects of raising a puppy, from choosing one to training it, to taking care of it if it gets sick. Very informative, well written, and broad. Good reader who was easy, and pleasurable to listen to, with the small exception of some terrible mispronunciations of medical words, and chemical names.

Comprehensive Guidebook

This 10 hour audio book provided a very comprehensive guide to getting ready for and raising a puppy. It covered areas that i had not even thought of.

Fantastic investment.

I've already listened to this audio book twice!

The narrator may seem dry at first but he is clever and steady. Perfect narrator for the topic at hand!

Learned Loads

I have raised a lot of puppies over the years, but wanted to be ready to care for our new German Shepherd puppy perfectly right. Was surprised with how much I learned and have asked my spouse and adult children to please listen. I found the first 50-60 minutes boring (I suggested to my family that they skip) and the readers slow pace and mis-pronouncement of medical words is irritating. However, after enduring the opening, the book is full of care and training information backed by experience and research. Glad I listened.
