This was one of the very few books I found to be practically useful to me on my parenting journey! It literally changed our life from driven by anxiety and fear of unknown to driven by understanding, peace and confidence. Excellent, fun, heart-felt narration. Down to earth advice. I couldn't stop listening... and I found myself taking notes and applying this author's advise immediately after I heard it! Our children's behaviors have been positively transformed and my husband and I gained the much needed confidence to parent with healthy firmness, unconditional love and compassion. We have two powerful boys, ages 3 and 5. This was a life saver for all of us. It is exactly the book I needed to hear. Thank you for that!
Everyone who has kids or is going to have them soon, must read this book! I am about to read it (listen to it) for the second time in a row! I am learning so much that is going to help my relationship with my children for life. I just know it!
Yes, it has so many great ideas and you can really relate to the examples.
Tangible take aways
Just finished. Many good thoughts on changing your habits and responses as a parent to grow children who respond in better way. Will be trying with my 3 girls. Will likely listen again to several chapters
