Powerful Thought Provoking
I LOVED the concept of this book! One Word is all you need to help you steer your year. I decided to try this with my family for 2014. The concept makes total sense and was powerful. I finished listening to this book inspired and on fiya. I am ready to conquer next year.--Michele Allen, Queens, NY
I liked the concept to use one word to focus your life.
No not really. I found I turned off when they brought in the god factor. I just didn't think it was necessary. Nothing against it but this turned me off and so I turned off the book didnt finish it.
The concept of one word resolutions sounds like a good thing to experiment with. Unfortunately, a page will do for that. What could use more fleshing out is the process to come up with the one word. The authors present it in a mystical way -- Think about it and God will reveal it to you. My problem is not that they include God. It is how they assume His involvement. Because the use of one word has worked for them and others, they conclude that each year God has one word just for you and will reveal it to you.
For one of the authors, the one word was "received" via a hurt knee.
