Great Content but Leave the Reading to the Pros

Where does No Excuses! rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

99% of what I listen to is business based. This would be in the top 10 of every book I've listened to based on it's great content alone.

What did you like best about this story?

The book is very well laid out. The concepts are very easy to understand and described in such a way that you feel you can do them.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The only weak part of this book is the narration. While I believe Brian Tracy is a genius and in incredible author, he should have left the reading to a pro. While I appreciate he is a great speaker and presenter, he miscalculated that those skills and reading an audio book are one and the same.

It's not bad to the point of distraction, but if you listen to a lot of audio books as I do, you realize that it could've been done better.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. I listened to this while I was driving over the period of about a week.

Overall, this is a very good audio book and highly recommend it.

Good information for life

What did you love best about No Excuses!?

As some of the other reviewers have said, the narration isn't spectacular. It's not terrible either, just sounds a little dated. The information is good; mostly common sense stuff but a good reminder. I like that he gives action exercises for each section, which makes it easier to assimilate the information. Every time he said, "here are seven action steps," I would rewind 10sec. and create a bookmark. Then I could go back and make notes of all those sections, which helps not having the physical book.

Some of this information is great to share with your kids too.

My first audiobook!

This book covers so many aspects of life! My favorite chapter was 14. I totally recommend it.

This book shed light on how I’ve been living was wrong. Making excuse for the things that I’ve done. I’m happy that I heard this audio, I’ve already started changing the way I think and act!!

this is the most important book you are not reading. whatever area you are challenged in, this book has the answer. I believe in this book. have been reading it over and over again for the last two years.
