Publisher's Summary

Joyce Meyer is probably better equipped than anyone when it comes to never giving up. She overcame an abused childhood, a bad marriage and extremely limited opportunities to become one of the most popular author/speakers in the world. JoyceMeyerMinistries was the first ministry in America to be headed by a woman, and it's one of the largest in the world. If anyone knows how to hold on to a dream and realize it, it's her.

"Surprisingly Good whether you are LGBTQ or Straigh"

When I first listened to this book via my public library, I did not know the author was homophobic. Thank heavens. For had I known, I would never have picked up her book, muchless purchase it later from audible. This is an extremely encouraging, motivating book without being uber-hyper and without any evidence of homophobia in it. It gives common sense tips about establishing priorities, sticking to principles and above all, trusting in God, and never ever giving up. I recommend this book to anyone. The narrator is great - I actually thought it was the author as I had never heard Joyce Meyer's voice before - speaking with confidence, assurance and compassion. Great book.

"Wonderful! I absolutely love this book!"

This audio book inspires me to never give up! I am listening to it again for the second time and I'm sure I will do so more in the future. Joyce gives so many inspiring stories about the lives of people who went through much difficulties but they never gave up. I would recommend this book to anyone who has thoughts of giving up on anything. I use it as I walk on my treadmill and I get so involved that I walk longer than I originally intended. That's a good thing!

"Narrator makes for a bad listen"

I feel like the narrator really steals the joy and message of this book. Its a bit of a drag to listen to. She's kinda old and drabby sounding and I'm used to the empowering voice of Joyce. I think I'll pass on the audio and perhaps pick up the book instead.

    "Never Give Up"

The book is great but the narrator is not the best for this book. I found her to be very difficult to listen to.

    "had to turn it off!"

This is NOT a motivational collection of stories, but a scripture-laden HOW TO book for CHRISTIANS on 'how to be a good christian'... I tried listening in spite of the unexpected format, hoping to gleen a few inspired gems amidst the bible readings and very limited focused lectures and it became unbearable. I do not recommend at all!! (unless you are looking for a how to be a christian manual from a singular point of view)
