Publisher's summary

“Napoleon Hill was one of America’s great, influential thinkers who continues to have an enormous impact today.” - Steve Forbes, editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine

Bestselling author Napoleon Hill reveals the seven principles of good that allow us to triumph over obstacles...and find success.

Using his legendary ability to get to the root of human potential, Napoleon Hill digs deep to reveal how fear, procrastination, anger, and jealousy prevent us from realizing our personal goals. This long-suppressed parable, once considered too controversial to publish, was written by Hill in 1938 following the publication of his classic bestseller, Think and Grow Rich. Annotated and edited for a contemporary audience by Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Three Feet from Gold coauthor Sharon Lechter, this book is profound, powerful, resonant, and rich with insight.

Critic reviews

"My simple faith is this: If we are created in God’s image, then we were born to create, and to create is to prosper. [This] previously unpublished Napoleon Hill manuscript.... I’ve read it and recommend it." (Rich Karlgaard, Publisher of Forbes magazine)

A Great Listen, very relevant to today.

This book was easier to understand listening to than reading, as the different voices make it seem more conversational.

One of the best audiobook I have heard to date

All should read/listen to this book. Archived for over 70 years, it is surprisingly relevant today. Maybe not surprising because human nature has not changed regardless of time and technology. It is short, to the point and will hit a chord regardless of age and experience.

Absolutely Amazing!!

The principles expounded by Hill are timeless! Parents should teach them to their children, teachers/professors to their students, religious leaders to their parishioners, and employers to their employees. What a truly awesome world we would have if all could learn to employ them.

Crazy good

Mindblowing book. I can see the devil even tried to destroy the book by getting Sharon Lechter to comment on it. Several times she belittles Napoleon Hill and claims he is NOT talking to the devil, even though he claims so in the beginning of the book. The rest of the book she talks to the reader like they are retards:" Having a bad day, have you tried that?". Yes, Sharon we have.

The reader of this book is likely at a high conscious level in their level, and they are being talked to like retards.

If she doesn't even believe in it, why is she chosen to comment INSIDE the book ?

This book needs a remake, without her.

Other than that, it's amazing. I have read more than 20 times. And still learning.

interesting book

I actually like this book. it is has good info, but you must have a good spirit of discernment to know what is God's truth from what lies and or truth Satan us really giving you. it gave me alot of "OH Wow" moments. Plus lots of things to pray over and think about. To think it was written in 1937, and relates to today events. The first part of the book seems alittle long before you get to the meat of it, but I see why he puts it in here. Enjoy.
