For more than 25 years, Mother Angelica has dispensed spiritual wisdom to her international "family" through her lively and often hilarious broadcasts on EWTN. In this book, Mother explores the purpose of life, pain and suffering, dealing with trials, seeking God's will in your everyday life, how to pursue inspirations, and much more. Packed with real-world hope, this little book reflects the wide range of the beloved nun's thoughts and practical teachings. It's sure to make a huge impact on the lives of all who listen to it.

One can gain insights by listening for just a few minutes. If you don't have much time and still want to feel like you can benefit from a few moments here and there during the day, this book is for you.
"Careful what you attribute to the Lord. Sometimes it's just a bird squawking."
It would be nice had he used his own voice before each Mother Angelica quote to separate them more. I liked his impersonation of her in the biography because it was just little snippets, but this book is mostly Arroyo reading as her. It is just way too much. The content is what makes it all worthwhile.
Nothing extreme. Mother Angelica is very down to earth and accessible in how she discusses faith and spirituality.
I already had the book before getting the Audible version. Hearing it brought new life to the words.
i will listen again and again.mothers deep, reflections really move e and as o will thinking of something thay had been on my heart ahe went into disrecernmet of God's will.
she the everyday joe and shows us how to let God in and let I s shine His,lihht to the world
Mother's lessons are fantastic! They have been put together in a way that flows perfectly. This book can be listened to for hours or just small chunks of a few minutes. Raymond Arroyo did an excellent job editing and putting this together.
Found another narrator. I'm generally not a big fan of Raymond Arroyo, I personally think he comes off as vain and smug. While he does a good job of mimicking Mother's cadence and speech, it just doesn't sound right. The book is so good though that you quickly forget the narration and find yourself concentrating on Mother Angelica's excellent lessons.
If you are a Catholic, this may be one of the best spirituality books you'll ever read. I loved it and plan on listening to it over again on a regular basis.
Love & Light and Blessings so Bright!
Yes the words are wonderful... its the author doing the votice that he thinks sounds like Mother that is creepy....creepy
Her other books as she is consistant
The creepy imitation of Mother by Raymond Arroyo
Telling others of Jesus and his Love
Mother is sublime... Raymond is a tad creepy sorry to say
comforting, entertaining, down to earth
Mother Angelica, of course
He played himself as the narrator
I listen to this every night for 30 minutes at bedtime. I think the best insight was the love that God has for us.
