Have you ever walked into a room and couldn't remember what you went there for? Have you ever grasped the hand of a potential client and then when the handshake broke, the name seemed to disappear from your memory? Or have you ever left a prospect or an important meeting and as you drove away remembered a key point that you should have shared with them?
The problem is NOT with your memory. The problem is with the "Filing System" your brain currently uses to store and retrieve memory items. Change the filing system and you'll double and even triple your memory comprehension. Two-time USA Memory Champion Ron White will teach you the same 2,000-year-old memory method that he has already taught thousands to:

It's a game-changing experience in my life.
Dramatic memory improvement.
I now use these memorization techniques at work. I often have to remember many project numbers and their details. The information in this solved that problem.
The techniques provided on improving one's memory (or rather one's ability to recall memories), were prolific, varied, simple, and well-presented. Well-presented, by the way, applies not only to the author's ability to skillfully and effectively communicate each process, but also to his light-hearted, perfectly-paced presentation of that information. Add to that a sincere "hats off" to the narrator, who recreated that thoughtful, focused, and fun attitude beautifully.
I had heard some of these mnemonics before (I've been using one or two of them for years), and was at first, pleasantly surprised to hear them being mentioned, then grateful for the refresher, and finally I found myself genuinely thrilled at finding that Ron White had added significant value to what I already thought were a couple of pretty cool tricks. One in particular was coding numbers into words to retain the number accurately and for long periods of time (I still remember the confirmation number for our Disney World dinner reservation for a family vacation about 15 years ago). He not only expands on the version that I had originally run across but provides a pdf that offers suggestions from 1 - 1000. Thank you Sir! Thank you most kindly.
This material works perfectly as an audio book. If your interested in learning some fantastic new ways to remember numbers, lists, faces, story lines, speeches, names, and a few other subject matters that I've forgotten (oops, could someone edit that line out, please?), then you just can't go wrong in adding this audio book to your library. It's worth the cost if you only learn half of the techniques presented.
This book demystifies what we think of when we think of as amazing memories. I learned things about myself and my memory capability that I never dreamed possible...plus I've had fun with friends and family dazzling them with seeming amazing feats of memory. This can be one of the best things you ever do for yourself if you're willing to invest in you. There is some work to be done on the front end, but once you have this skill (and yes, memory is a skill, not an incredible innate ability as I and many others once thought), you have it forever. I remember names better than ever before in my life! I go to the grocery store w/o lists and no for certain that I didn't miss anything. I don't forget things in the morning before work. Here is a promise, you WILL astound yourself with your memory if you follow the instructions laid out in this book. This has been so much fun to learn and I WISH I knew this in school. I cannot wait to teach these SKILLS to my children. Any of us can learn them and memory champions do not have any better "memory" than us. It may seem hard to believe BUT that will be quite impressive to others that do not know how simple your little memory secrets are :). Enjoy the new world that is about to unfold for you!
An excellent source for learning how to improve your memory. I have world-class educational background, with 14 years of full-time university work. I wish I had know these techniques when I was a student. I also recommend the Teaching Company's videos on memory improvement.
