This is a very comprehensive program; most memory improvement audios are very lacking in new or novel techniques or remembering information in a different way. They all reiterate the same techniques over and over. this author takes a whole new approach to learning and remembering, everything from facts and data to physical tasks and complicated processes. He takes traditional techniques and really expands on them. Definitely worth the listen.
This is untraditional in that it provides tips and tricks that you won't find in other programs all in an engaging and easy to follow format.
the chapter on using visualization to enhance memory, completely changed how easily I remember things
His voice and narration is easy to listen to and follow.
the chapter on affirmations and changing believes
get it, you won't be disappointed
Too many memory books these days are the same, they are offering the same techniques as everyone else, which can be used only in a limited setting.
That's where this book stands out. Parker offers so many techniques to remember just about any type of information you'll come across or are struggling with. There is even a detailed discussion on remembering physical tasks whether it's dance steps or operation of machinery.
This book is not solely for academic info, although if you wanted to use it for that, you could.
The part i like the most is that there are tons and tons of example. He doesn't just give you a technique, he tells you why it's important, how to apply it, and shows you many different types of example.
I highly recommend giving this audio a listen. I'm confident you'll find at least a few useful techniques.
Can't say I've listen to the entire recording, but what I have heard so far is fantastic. It is above and beyond many of the other memory books I've read or listened. What I liked were the detailed explanations using facts and events from science, history, and other subjects. I get the feeling that this book is more than just for memorizing facts and data, but a comprehensive aid in recalling everything life has to offer like dance steps, misplaced items, and more.
