Edited by Dr. Michael Newton, the best-selling author of Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls, Memories of the Afterlife is a collection of fascinating true accounts from around the world, handpicked and presented by life-between-lives hypnotherapists certified by the Newton Institute.
After recalling memories of their afterlife, the people in these studies embarked on life-changing spiritual journeys - reuniting with soul mates and spirit guides, and discovering the ramifications of life and body choices, love relationships, and dreams by communing with their immortal souls. As gems of self-knowledge are revealed, dramatic epiphanies result, enabling these ordinary people to understand adversity in their lives, find emotional healing, realize their true purpose, and forever enrich their lives with new meaning.

I did not like the way they narrated the book. With two readings and needing to narrate a dilogue why not use one reader for each part. Also they drop their voice so low you can't hear it in a car. Portraying emotions is well and good, but pointless if I can't hear it.
Someone needs to get fired, dismissed without reference, for the audio production of this book. I don't blame the narrators, since both the male and female narrators, use the same breathless, idiotic delivery. It's the sing-song voice adults use to talk baby talk to infants. Let me ask you this, would a physics book be performed this way? I hated it so much this book sat in my library for about six months, even though I'd enjoyed Michael Newton's earlier work, until I realized that I could put the book on "faster" speed and that helped a little bit. At least enough so that I was able to listen to it.
Still, if you have a choice, get the written version of this. You'll thank me.
Some more excitement in the narration. I have listened to other Michael Newton books but this was just so monotone and boring. It really is painful to listen to although I am very interested in the content.
Haven't reached it yet. I'm not sure if I will finish.
The narration is one (slow) pace and really boring.
Oh my gosh. Sample this first. The reader does odd spacing voices and accents for each person. It is so annoying. Ruins the book. A waste of my money.
I would recommend the paperback as I didn't like the way the female narrator read her part. Her tone wasn't always consistent with what was happening during the LBL sessions--such as when a client was recalling a past life trauma. I found this irritating and distracting as it didn't seem like she was genuinely into it. I enjoyed this book when I read it but was disappointed with this audio version.
this is another book Michael Newton write about afterlife... but I think I like his other two book far better, although , this is still a interesting read with all different case studies. there are no new things in this book.
If you really interested in the subject, yeah, I guess you can read it...
I learnt about life between lives and the effect of past lives on our present existence and relationships.
The difficulty is that they were using soul names and present day names and sometimes it's difficult to follow the narrative in relation to the individual
Recommend it to those trying to make sense of their life or anyone interested in the esoteric
The stories in this book are more than just fascinating, they're downright captivating. If Dr. Newton's Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls aren't enough for you, than this book will give you more of what you crave.
A must read for all who wants know who they really are. Through this book and the other books by Dr Newton I have developed a very intimate grasp of the after/before life of myself to understand where I'm from, who I am and where I'm going. Where I'm going isn't completely clear, but Dr Newton's books lay the foundation for a clearer picture.
Thank you Dr Newton
I really didn't understand the previous reviewer grievances with the female narrator. I happened to really enjoy it. This is the 4th book now of this author I have listened to. I feel like I just studied an important activity.
