Well spent time

Learning in a short time how to use the rest even better is worthwhile. I've learned meditation from many teachers, and think his simple techniques are in agreement with what really works. Much of the ceremony and fuss around meditation is meant to keep the thoughts occupied or distracted enough that you actually can meditate.. this just shows you how to meditate wherever you may be, without long preambles. It isn't new-agey and isn't in that style. Most new-agey "meditations" would be better termed "cheering visualizations" which can relax and benefit a person, but doesn't immediately give your mind from your own core the chance to meditate and create out of itself. He's teaching, simply, MEDITATION.

What I’ve been looking for

This is such a breath of fresh air! I have been trying to figure out how to meditate for years, and have had several books. This is the first one that has captured my attention, and explain things in a way that is easy to follow, and easy to do. I am very grateful for the author.

Meditation in a minute? Not here!

Low on practical exercises, high on really boring talk, and a very annoying UK (I believe) accent make this painful to listen to. When something is titled, "Meditation in a NY Minute," you expect a series of one-minute meditations, not endless self-important babble about how the author was "chosen" to teach.

A wonderful surprise...

Great for busy people, who want to gracefully, add meditation, and it’s benefits, into their life. The methods are innovative, and they work.

‘Meditation in a New York Minute’ is filled with simple ways to reach a calm, lucid state in the midst of a hectic workday. The author shows exactly how to use little chunks of time during daily activities, to reach an hour a day. A fascinating concept.

I was looking for inspiration to get back on my meditation schedule. After listening to the audio sample, I knew there was enough value to warrant a purchase. I’m thrilled, as it’s even better than I’d imagined.

It seems like many audible listeners gave ‘Meditation in a New York Minute’ a high rating, but no one has taken a moment to write a positive review yet, which this deserves. Listen to the sample, and see for yourself.
