At a time I was really seeking spiritual change in my life, I discovered Murphy's books. I can't begin to tell you how drastically my life has changed.
The book repeats a lot of things over and over again, but for me, it helped.
Those who believe in God and get their strength from faith.
I could not get past the first chapter. I was hoping for a book based on psychology or cognitive science, but instead this book felt pretty much like listening to a sermon on any given Sunday. After hearing the words God, prayer, and faith several times in the chapter, I've pretty much written this book off as a serious book in the Self Development category. While there are many good
i did, but it was exactly the same as this one, and something tells me, his other 4 books are probably just the same thing with a different name
not copy and paste it from his other books
i LOVE the narrator. his voice is very soothing. i have a hard time falling asleep and i actually listen to this book, not for the content, but for the soothing calming sound of his voice. very therapeutic. i'm gonna look for other books (by a different author) narrated by Sean because i love his voice so much
i would delete all of them and just have a link to his wealth and success book. because this is a copy.
you only need to buy one of his books, read/listen to one and then you've read them all. deceiving marketing technique to include the same content under a different name.
I would have preferred to know the perspective in advance. I did not know this is a Christian, deeply biblically-based audio because I did not know the author.
perspective - wanted a confidence improvement lesson, got bible lessons
just make product description more reflective of content/perspective or describe author's background
No mention of fairy tale creatures like God.
Managed to sit through the first 5 minutes then realized that "God" had been mentioned more often than not.
Didn't sit through enough.
It would be great if Audible would make special notes about religious based material for users to easily identify if the item will fit the readers belief system.
"A religous book"
All about the power of god. If that's what you want, read on...
The title could be more reflective on the content
