Publisher's Summary

The Shift is a call to become more conscious, to move from aimless ambition to meaning and purpose. Making this shift is a necessity in order to live a peaceful, fulfilling life aligned with your divine calling. In this deeply engaging live seminar, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer explains that, instead of heeding the demands of the ego, which keep you mired in self-sabotage through never-ending pleas and false promises, you can choose to move in a new direction—one that leaves the false self behind so you can reclaim your true nature. The ego has driven many of us away from our authentic selves. In Making the Shift, Wayne reveals how we can make that all-important U-turn and head back to the Source of being that created us.

    "Sugar Knowledge Value"
If you could sum up Making the Shift in three words, what would they be?

    Awareness & Alignment Aid

What was one of the most memorable moments of Making the Shift?

The chapters that spoke to this compulsive eater were acutely inspiring and useful.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The chapter on sugar would be a nugget to someone who hadn't been exposed to this knowledge already and was in the right place to receive the help. I knew of the sugar detriment and found the hearing a good reminder and reinforcer of my understanding.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some parts were so in alighment with my journey it was profuoud. I accepted it for its reality of me being in the exact right spot of awareness to receive it gratefully.

    Any additional comments?

The parts that I found non-useful are simply that way for me and are my story of them. I wasn't ready to receive them at this time. I don't reject them and know that they are right for another. I know this because they are in the reading.

The book would have been significantly more impactful if there were less statements about about how great Wayne is.

    "Amazing program"

The only thing that disappointed me about listing this program is the fact that I missed years of listening to Wayne. I've known of him over the years but never got into his material. His wisdom will carry-on long past his death. I will now buy everything he has.

    "I LOVE Wayne Dyer."

What can he do wrong. This probably was his last lecture before turning in his astronaut suit. I have learned SO much from him and this audible was fantastic!

"Compass to Getting to a Life of Bewilderment"

"We are human beings, not human doings" - such a beautiful sentiment that runs through this book.

Life should never be hard, a struggle, something to be endured. When we "sell our cleverness and purchase bewilderment" this is the key to unlock life's secrets.

This is one of those books I will be re-reading time and time again, to keep reminding me of these and many other messages of wisdom.

"Nice overview of Dr. Dyer's Work"

I have been reading Dr. Dyer's books and listening to his lectures since the early 80's. I had just started re-reading one of his earlier books last year when it was announced that he had passed. I have started re-acquiring his programs since then and while everything is comfortably familiar it is also oddly fresh given my life changes over the years. This is a newer program with many often told Dyer stories and some new ones. If you have liked him in the past, you should like him in this program which provides a nice overview of his work, especially in light of his passing.
