In the beginning, God created Adam. Then he made Eve. And ever since we've been picking up the pieces. Loveology is just that - a theology of love. With an autobiographical thread that turns an audiobook into a story, pastor and speaker John Mark Comer shares about what is right in male/female relationships - what God intended in the Garden. And about what is wrong - the fallout in a post-Eden world.
Loveology starts with marriage and works backward. Comer deals with sexuality, romance, singleness, and what it means to be male and female; ending with a raw, uncut, anything goes Q and A dealing with the most asked questions about sexuality and relationships. This is an audiobook for singles, engaged couples, and the newly married - both inside and outside the church - who want to learn what the Scriptures have to say about sexuality and relationships. For those who are tired of Hollywood's propaganda, and the church's silence. And for people who want to ask the why questions and get intelligent, nuanced, grace-and-truth answers, rooted in the Scriptures.

To any Christian, no matter what point of a relationship they are in, I would recommend listening or reading this book. It is straightforward and unapologetic when it comes to discussing God's version of what a marriage should look and feel like.
A must read for pre-married, recently married and long time married. We must constantly be growing or we are dying in our love of our spouse.
This is such a wonderful book! It is full of real and practical advice that always points you back to the only true source for learning about relationships: the Bible. Insightful and humorous, I could not recommend this book any higher to anyone interested in learning more about the theology of love.
True reflection of biblical mindset towards topics that so many people struggle with. I don't know what's on the horizon for me but I know the God who knows and I am now learning to enjoy the gift of singleness.
Easy to listen to. Great advice, both biblical and personal. Scriptural exegesis I hadn't heard before listening. I have listened through Loveology twice now and will probably revisit it throughout life.
I haven't heard a performance this good since Sophie's World.
I finished the book in a day and plan on returning to it as I get into a relationship.
This book talks about EVERYTHING around love and delves into what God created good and how culture is going a completely different way and answers the question of how do we live in the world and understand love?
It discusses these topics in such a graceful, loving way instead of a condemning tone. Whether you are single or married, Christian or just have questions, this will give you lots to think about and maybe even challenge you in more than one area.
