Lifelong Health

I loved this book so much that I have already listened to it 2 times, and I still want to listen to it again and again.
If you truly love to stay healthy naturally & lively a long happy disease-less age, you really need to read this very important detailed researched based, well written, and beautifully spoken audio book!

Facts without too much heresay

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

He discusses what the research says... what he think is secondary

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, even at 1.5x this is a monster book/course at 36 hours... Has taken me a month of intermittent listening

I love his ability to quote real studies... whilst I have not looked into all of them, I have read up about a couple and his take away matched my own.

Very good information to live by.

A wide range of subjects with adaptive concepts that I have assimilated into my life which make me healthier and stronger. I listen to many chapters often. I love this book.

Great read that is relevant to our day and age

This book answered a lot of health-related questions that I wasn’t sure of because of all the contradicting research we read. The author is very scientific and objective in his approach and clearly states what is scientifically-proven, from what is common knowledge and what is plain unscientific. The book also reiterates the importance of exercise, mindfulness, healthy, whole food, balanced eating and the importance of meaningful fulfilling social interactions. A great read that i would recommend to anyone looking to improve their health, or maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Wow

This is a phenomenal series that speaks to help at all ages. After listening to this tape series I was armed with the information that I need to be healthy throughout my life and to understand the importance of 1% change and the Goldilocks principal.

No bibliography but found it through Google search

This was a good course. Dr. Goodman presents sometimes complex information in an easy to understand way. I also like his general philosophy to good heath. My own research has led me to disagree with him on two points, however. I think he's wrong about local food being better and I don't think organic food is worth the cost in most cases.

It would have been nice to have a link to the bibliography and written material included in the description but I was able find it by Googling the name of the course.
