Learn to Meditate - Metta Bhavana contains two easy-to-follow guided meditations to develop this powerful technique. The first Learn to Meditate - Metta Bhavana class runs for 42 minutes whilst the second is a 20-minute quick version ideal to use if you do not have time for the longer session. Both sessions begin with a body awareness section which works to focus your mind onto your body and especially your heart center. You are then guided through the meditation practice in five clear stages. At the end of each session you are encouraged to sit quietly for a few moments to absorb the effects of the meditation and slowly reorient your awareness.
With regular practice, Metta (loving kindness) can be developed and grown (Bhavana) into a very strong emotion that has the potential to affect every aspect of your life and interactions with others. Whilst cultivating loving kindness toward others the positive nature of this practice has the potential to percolate through into your actions.
The classes are devised and instructed by Rae Roberts. Rae is an internationally renowned meditation teacher who has practiced, studied, and taught various meditation techniques for more than 30 years. Her easy-to-follow expert instructions are combined with subtle background soundscapes that set the perfect mood for the practice.
Learn to Meditate - Metta Bhavana is accompanied by a free PDF guide booklet that provides reference photographs to help you get the most from the sessions.

"Very effective and simple to do"
I was a bit sceptical about this, I haven't done meditation before. I thought maybe it was going to be a bit mumbo jumbo, but it wasn't at all. Perfectly straight forward, simple to do. She takes you through the routine without any waffle, and it's quite brief, not hours of a job. I certainly felt much better afterwards, and will continue using it.
