Yes. I thought this would be a great audio book to go back and listen to for reference. This book on knee pain covers everything you want to know about treating and preventing knee pain. If one thing doesn't work, go back and try something else. You are bound to find help in this book!
I am very happy to have a book packed with so much information on knee pain. I suffer from knee pain almost daily and after listening to Knee Pain: Treating Knee Pain, Preventing Knee Pain, Natural Remedies, Medical Solutions..I have found thing I am going to try out that I would have never thought of.
When you think of knee pain, you don't necessarily think that there would be natural solutions to helping the pain. I was amazed at how many different all natural foods, remedies, and supplements there at out there to strengthen your knees. I was really happy to get educated on the best items to buy to help me with my knee pain.
All and all this is a very informative and useful audio book for dealing with knee pain. Anyone who deals with knee pain should listen to this book! Great information!!
The whole book gives you very good ideas on how to treat knee pain from exercise to surgery and how to prevent it. I found the dietary part of the book to be very interesting as I never knew what you eat can affect knee pain and either making better or worse.
I think the exercises where the best part of the book. There were no characters due to the fact that this is a non fiction book. The exercises are all very easy to achieve and strengthen the knees so that pain will ease up or be prevented all together.
There were no characters, but Joshua Mackey did a very good job of narrating this self help book. He makes even knee pain sound interesting and his explanation of the exercises was excellent. He made it sound like fun.
I was happy that there is some things I can do about knee pain. Some of the techniques work very well and I was glad to see some of the choices I might have for surgery later on. I won't be surprised when my doctor says it is time, if there is a time and the exercises cease to work.

Many books and resources often caution against exercising when you have knee pain, but it is common knowledge that we must stay active and use the right exercises when you have a problem with your joints. I will be incorporating these exercises into my knee pain routine right away. I appreciate the fact that this book provides complete information on different devices and products that will help. I will use it to find a more effective knee brace. The preventative information is also important because I frequently have knee pain since I do interval training. I want to prevent further pain while helping to reduce the pain I already have and this book will help me with this.
Thanks to the ideas in this book, I have seen a significant reduction in my knee pain. Months after I thought my body had recovered from an auto accident, one knee started hurting. I walk a lot, so was very concerned by the onset of knee pain, until I started following a few of the exercises suggested in McCloud's book. Within a few days I could feel a difference in the pain level. If you are looking for non surgical solutions for knee pain then this is a great resource! It lists just about every method known to man for helping to heal and deal with knee pain. I especially liked all the exercises that can be done and my problem knee is feeling much better now that I am taking serious action. This audio also mentioned some specialized ice packs designed to fit directly on the knee, which has been a great help, along with tips for heat/ice therapy. Highly recommended for those who want to heal naturally and not take the risk of surgery.
I suffer osteoarthiritis and had a meniscus repair so I had high expectations from this book. But the information is pretty basic and nothing that I already didn't know. Maybe I had researched this subject quite extensively in the past so my bar was already high. But possibly quite useful for those with less advanced knowledge.

I thought that this book on knee pain was excellent. It contained helpful and informative advice for managing and preventing knee pain in a very impressive and clear fashion.
The author does a great job of explaining what causes knee pain and some of the common reasons behind it. I learnt a lot from the chapter on preventing knee pain especially through the stretching and exercise tips.
Both medical and natural solutions are explored in detail with the book offering insightful explanations and the effect they can have.
The best part was where exercises are given to strengthen the knees. The methods are clear, well-explained and easy-to-follow along with as you listen.
I cannot recommended book this book highly enough for anyone suffering with knee pain or simply keen to prevent it.

The book covers all areas of knee pain including the causes such as arthritis or impact to any part of the knee from bone and cartilage to tendons and ligaments, treatments that are both medical and natural, exercises to strengthen the knee and preventions to stop the pain from returning.
I loved the treatments section. Not only are medical and herbal remedies suggested, there are also a large range of exercises described, as well as motivational exercises so you can rehabilitate mentally as well as physically. The author also recommends a change in diet and nutrition, as this can affect your core strength as well as joints, muscles and bone strength.
