Jinananda has been teaching Buddhist meditation for 20 years. On this recording, he introduces two traditional practices that help develop clarity, calmness, and positivity, and reflects on the deeper significance of meditation – all with the greatest good humour and in his own unique style.
Accessible and thought-provoking, this audiobook explains how to get started with meditation and keep going through the ups and downs of everyday life. Jinananda leads you through two meditations, entitle The Mindfulness of Breathing and The Development of Loving Kindness.

Very highly. This book is just what I was looking for.
The author is clear and informative and doesn't talk in that artificially soft voice wishy washy voice you get in a lot of books aimed at people trying to better themselves.
All of it
Although it is a short book, it is packed with ideas to think about and practice excersises. I have already listened to its twice, and I expect I will listen to it many more times. There are useful meditations at the end of the book to help begginers like me get underway.
A very good introduction to Buddhism and meditation. Highly recommended
