Internationally acclaimed psychic medium and best-selling author John Edward has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique abilities to connect people with loved ones who have crossed over to the Other Side. Now in this groundbreaking book, John takes you on an infinite quest to develop your own psychic intuition as a powerful tool for taking charge of your life.
John believes that everyone has intuitive energy and psychic potential - for instance, many of us can recall knowing that the phone was going to ring and who it was on the other end, or we will “get a feeling” about something. That “feeling” is psychic energy. His goal is to help you understand your intuitive potential and tap into it to take chances and make choices with confidence.
By following certain guidelines and intuition-building exercises on this meta-physical journey, we can learn to get in touch with our Spirit Guides and identify the psychic energy around us on deeper levels - including connecting with the energy of those who have passed. John also explores the importance of psychic self-defense and reveals how divination tools like numerology and tarot cards can further assist you on your path.
Like John’s new website that gives this book its name, Infinite Quest is truly a “portal to all things metaphysical”.

I like John Edward and evidently would not have continued to listen if it were not time well-spent...however, I personally did not take a lot away from the book other than it seems that he has likely had entirely too many people try to capitalize on him or his name and is concerned that he is going to encourage someone to start a practice that is not ready.
Possibly. He has a great voice and sense of humor and is incredibly gifted. It would depend on the subject.
When reading someone I have heard speak before, I generally do not have a difficult time "hearing" them read when I am reading a book. However, I have heard some books where someone else is doing the audio and it is HORRIBLE so I am glad that he narrated it himself.
I don't think that he actually was ready to write this book, or perhaps I just shouldn't have bought it. I'm not sure what his experiences are that he would be so afraid that someone would suddenly put a shingle out and start doing readings for people and use his name. It felt like more warnings than encouragement. If you have been a medium, tarot reader, astrologer, intuitive psychic, whatever, all of your life or most of it, but hide your gifts from most everyone you know, this is not going to be a particularly helpful read. If you are just beginning to recognize interest and gifts in these areas, go for it!
For me, I would consider the audio edition better than the print because at any point (almost) I can put in my ear buds and listen to this book, rather than sitting and reading and not being able to do anything else.
Aslo, I LOVE to hear John narrate. It comes across so much more intently and with so much conviction! I LOVED THIS AUDIO BOOK!
I just finished the audio book "Proof of Heaven". I just love information about a "higher" power. and books that can change your life for the better. (I am in the middle of "Fallen Masters")
I'm not sure I understand this question? I have only heard "Infinite Quest" performed by John Edward. The other book, "Fallen Masters" is narrated by someone else. At first I was bummed it wasn't narrated by John, but I soon got used to it, and now love the job this guy is doing?
I feel like and would hope to remember just about everything. I constantly think about cleansing myself as well as my house. I am also constantly thinking about the thoughts I am sending out into the world and how other people take and send energy. Basically, there is so much to re-fleck on, I could go on for days:)
Thank you so much for the work that you do. You truly are helping people. I am full of questions and I love the answers I get from you. You are a star that I am truly struck by.
How well he explanined the subject
He emphasized importance that you might not see by reading
I loved this book! I thought it had a lot of good suggestions as well as truths about opening up your psychic ability. I felt that having the author read the book was very helpful as well because he puts emphasis on things that need to really stick out. I have recommended this and will probably read it again. A downfall with this book is that the author talks about his website very often and a code you can use to gain some access to it. I did try to do as he states but the offer was out of date. I kind of felt that with the book only being published in 2010 that the "offer" should still be somewhat valid instead of null and void. But that is really my only downfall of the book which really doesn't have anything to do with the book. I felt that I gained some true insight and help from this book for connecting with my spirit guides.
Funny and clever as ever. He offers some cautionary information about using psychic abilities if you decide to develop them. Great book! I have an autographed hard copy as well ;).
With John's book and CDs I have been able to control and grow from a psychic into a pure true medium. Getting himself out of the way gives you an opportunity to go in deep and study with protection that most do not use.
Yes, I'm sure I will listen again, there are many concepts in the book and once isn't enough to pick up all the info.
I never write reviews, but I want to thank John for writing this book. You can tell he has put tremendous energy into all the details he includes. It's like a guide to the universe that each of us can use to enhance our life. I wasn't going to buy this book, but I kept getting these stray thoughts to "go buy the book NOW", I'm glad I heard and listened. (smile) Isn't it great!
This felt like a retaliation book for all people who have upset this man. He has a powerful gift, I do believe that. This was just a venting of his issues for the most part. He should have just sent them an email...

The "how to" instruction
Very good suggestion for developing/building connection to our guides and understanding ourselves and life purpose.
Best book I have listened too or read...infomative and accurate...
The essential skills and knowledge for life, so comprehensive
A few...a standing ovation to John Edward's for this material...
The larger perspective on life and your role in it...It helped me as a person and a sensitive (an empath that helped me make sense of it all for the first time. at 46 yrs of age)
Thank you for sharing this with us...
"John Edward - Infinite Quest"
I am a fan, I admit, of the enigmatic John Edward. His TV shows are great fun to watch, he seems to enjoy talking with people and his patter is peppered with puns and laughter.
I downloaded this audio book because I am fascinated with all things spiritual. When I decided to look for inspiration and deeper insights, I turned to my favourite TV medium. This book is serious, not just in John Edward's devotion to the topic, but in the sombre guidance you get from John during this two part unabridged book. It covers everything I'd had questions about and it encourages huge amounts of personal progression through exercises and meditations. John displays great authority when advising against those seeking to "make a quick buck" out of mediumship and also acknowledges the more sinister elements of charlatan types plaguing the industry. On the flip side, John's anecdotes were delivered in his signature warm, friendly manner and the obvious passion he feels for working in his field resonates in his strong tone.
All in all I was very pleased with my first ever audiobook choice, beautifully narrated (by the author), well presented and easy to follow. Despite the length, (nearly 9 and a half hours), it was easy to dip in and out of; I didn't feel the need to listen to it all at once and the intermittent exercises gave me time to digest and process the information in a chapter before moving on to the next.
My only criticism is that it could be just a little bit repetitive at times. i understand that recaps are needed but it reminded me too much of the prolonged recaps done on TV shows after each ad break!! Apart from that though, brilliant stuff; informative, instructive, inspirational. I'm still a fan!
