Very good book!

I loved this book! I thought it had a lot of good suggestions as well as truths about opening up your psychic ability. I felt that having the author read the book was very helpful as well because he puts emphasis on things that need to really stick out. I have recommended this and will probably read it again. A downfall with this book is that the author talks about his website very often and a code you can use to gain some access to it. I did try to do as he states but the offer was out of date. I kind of felt that with the book only being published in 2010 that the "offer" should still be somewhat valid instead of null and void. But that is really my only downfall of the book which really doesn't have anything to do with the book. I felt that I gained some true insight and help from this book for connecting with my spirit guides.

Funny and clever as ever. He offers some cautionary information about using psychic abilities if you decide to develop them. Great book! I have an autographed hard copy as well ;).

Very interesting uplifting and full of wonderful guidance. I loved this book. Not one to teach you how to be a medium or physic but packed with great information on developing your psychic intuition. Down to earth and highly spiritual.

Amazing on SOOO Many Levels!

I discovered John Edward in 2001 and immediately felt he was not your average psychic medium. And when I saw him in person in 2019, I knew he was absolutely genuine. The man has uncanny psychic abilities. He’s also an amazing teacher.

I did not find him to be egomaniacal at ALL in this book, as some have stated. Rather, he has a genuine ability to do what he does and doesn’t want a gaggle of JE wannabes claiming to “do what he does” or that he taught them, trying to scam people out of money. In other words, as a legitimate medium, he doesn’t want his good name tarnished or tied to some con man/woman who decides to open up shop upon reading this book. I think that’s understandable and respectable. He is harsh (his words) in many ways, telling it like it is sans sugarcoating, but I think this only adds to his effectiveness as a teacher.

He is repetitive on several topics - which he readily acknowledges upfront - because they’re important and he wants you to really, REALLY remember them, not unlike any other effective teacher.

As a narrator, he was obviously passionate about the material and it shows. I would’ve expected nothing less. It didn’t feel like he was reading; it felt like he was a professor at a podium giving a lecture.

If you’re looking to “become” a medium or a psychic and develop a large clientele, this isn’t the book for you. However, if you are interested in personal growth, spiritual development, and learning to use and trust your intuition, as well as learn doable meditation techniques for REGULAR, busy people, then you DEFINITELY want this book. It won’t change your life, but it absolutely provides the tools for YOU to do so.

Im now on my second listen, of what I’m sure will be several.

John Edward rocks! He is to the point, does not mince words so there is no misunderstanding of the point he is making, and humorous...laugh out loud humorous. I highly recommend this book no matter where your at on your spiritual journey, trust me, you will learn a lot more from this book.
