Be encouraged by advices of hundreds people !

Nobody doesn't worry in the world. In a sense, it might
give us something beneficial in terms of anticipating a harmful thing to
come, though. But worrying has a strong gene to build up itself once
    embedded in our mind firmly.
Some spiritual books give us useful canons which are often stern,
meticulous and hard to sink in.
This book written by Dale Carnegie shows us very useful advices in a
practical way. In fact, people who love a serious way to solve their
problems in mind like a philosopher might not feel satisfied with this
book. Dale Carnegie adopted a style in which he tries to analyze
problems that people have in their workspace or at home objectively with
numerous and vivid examples. The most impressive point in the book is
these ample examples where he not only quotes beautiful sentences from
many books, but also let many people talk about their true and valuable
    stories for us.
I had read this book in th paper-version last year when I was working in
Shanghai as an engineer. It helped me. This time, I have enjoyed it with
a clear narration by Andrew MacMilan, for my amusement after dinner and
    partly for nourishing my English-ear.

This is a book that changed my life!

This is a book that changed my life. I was in a time that I was consumed by unhappiness. I hated my job, as matter of fact, I hated my career. I was dating an awful man. My mother daily reminded me how much a failure I was. None of my other family members wanted to help other than telling me to go figure it out myself. Then I found this book. I got my acts togethet. Each time I was about to fall apart again, I went back to the book. I am right now on my long long flight to China to see my family. I am lisening to this audio book. Despite that I had read the book several times, it never stops inspiring me each time I read again. The audio book is much better than the paper book. The narrator is great at delivering the message. I feel it is Dale reading himself.

    Simply wonderful

Would you listen to How to Stop Worrying and Start Living again? Why?

As a person who is not religious, I've been looking for my OWN "Holy Book", something to inspire ME-- and this book is it. I plan to start off every new year by listening to it again.

What was one of the most memorable moments of How to Stop Worrying and Start Living?

This book convinced a rational cynical skeptical analytical guy like me who dismissed almost everything not proven via scientific method to realize the ultimate purpose of life for a human being isn't to understand it, but to live it.

Have you listened to any of Andrew MacMillan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Andrew MacMillan narrates Dale Carnegie's How to win Friends and Influence People with equal talent

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I think the title of the book would be a fitting title for the film

    Any additional comments?

If I could convince every one in the world to read just one book, this would be it. Worry/anxiety/fear pulls down our capability to fully love what we do, to fully love others, and ultimately to fully love life itself.Had Dale Carnegie lived long enough, I'm sure he would've concurred with Yoda when he said: "Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering". So let's allay our fears so we can stop suffering and live a life of joy.

Everyone must read this book. Better than therapy.

This book is so well written. I can say it has changed my life and I know I will listen to and/or read it again. And the performance was excellent. I’m picky. The reader has a great voice and a great tone that only adds to the experience. Would highly recommend.
