...simple to follow instructions to getting into a better dating situation. He gives a great picture and diagnosis of why many people don't have success with dating, and a few good strategies for developing the skill.
I did not give it five stars because:
- it seems like most of the book is written for women. Men need help too, and in many cases more than women
- the advice given to men is a bit simplistic. Go out and talk to more women. Really? It really is that simple bit the mental blocks need to be addressed before action takes place.
The book has good ideas. But please be aware that this is definitely not an unabridged book. It's about the same length as the abridged version. It's no where near 4 hours long.
Great book as it point out the things we are doing wrong but don't realize it. Get this before you miss a good one
Wonderful book and great advise! This book gives practical advise to those whose are seeking love and following Christ.
"insightful and clear advice on dating"
I recommend this book highly. I think it provides clear, realistic advice. Empowering advice. As you go throught it, the author provides the biblical basis for the advice. As a Christian I value this. I don't think, though, that it will get in the way of any non Christian enjoying, understanding and benefitting from the advice (speaking as someone who was a non Christian for a large part of my life).
