Would you try another book from Gini Graham Scott and/or Wendy Almeida?

i appreciate the effort of this book since there are no other books out there to educate this subject matter. Some info is helpful ex.chpater 5 and chapter 6 and some of the later chapter.

But I find the a couple of the info inaccurate to my own experience. For example, the author claims the book project is $15,000 and more.She also says typically GW charges $150-$200/hour. And a mere book proposal that requires only a few days' work is $3,000- $5,000 isn't my experience when i spoke with ghostwriters.

I was in contact with a seasoned writer who works part-time as a ghostwriter to write my book of 200 pages for $2,000. One charges $3,000 for 200 pages. Another charges $25/page and quoted $200 ish per chapter since each chapter will be about 8 pages ish.

One quoted $6,000 and might bill me more if the work extend beyond that. His rate was $60/hour. Of course ghostwriter agency company that has many writers under the company quoted me $30,000. The owner was somewhat famous on TV news and shows.


I recommend this book or recording as this should be part of your leg work. Your life is worth a 3-hour and $10 investment.

The narrator's voice is on the low side, sound like a senior citizen's voice. It didn't inspire my brain to want to listen but everyone's brain is wired differently for pitches and style of voice.

I would say go for it and listen to the recording. Life surprises you sometimes.

I am about half way through now.

What aspect of Wendy Almeida’s performance would you have changed?

It was very low and dead to my ears. Not exciting. Not excitable. Not inspiring.She was just doing her job, it feels like. But everyone's ear responds to sound differently, so don't listen to what i have to say regarding this. I just need to give an honest opinion to help other people.

Her voice will grow on you. So try to keep an open mind as you are listening to the book for its content.

Any additional comments?

I don't know if I should suggest the writer to step out of her surrounding in order to write accurately for beginner authors who mostly likely lived an earnest life and want to write about it but don't have too much money for the important project and etc.This book was written to help people. So let it do the job.
