Worth listening to

Would you try another book from Wayne M. Levine and/or Wayne M. Levine?

Yes, I would give it a try. It got annoying with the constant use of the acronym NUTS. The book has some good ideas. But sometimes I wonder when I read a book like this "What is the womans role in the relationship?" You could almost boil down the book to "Kiss her butt and do anything and everything for her and hope she is happy".

Boring & nothing new

After about 2 hours I just couldn't take any more. He loves to use his phrase "your nuts" and doesn't go more than about a minute or two saying "your nuts this" or "your nuts that." It becomes very annoying and distracting. We all KNOW that he is playing with he own double-entendre when he says "protect your nuts" or "don't let go of your nuts" or "trust your nuts". It's clever, I guess. But after hearing him say some clever variation of what he obviously is trying to make his own coined term, 500 times in a couple hours I get the impression he is more focused on marketing and self-promotion than actually helping men "who don't have any nuts" or "who gave their nuts to their wives". In fact, I am very convinced that that is exactly his goal in writing this book. He came up with the title FIRST, figured it would be his ticket to fame
And fortune, and Phil and Dr Oz, so he wrote a bunch of pablum to create a book. I'm likely asking Audible to take it back so I can use my credit on a real self-help book.

What A Waste and Bunch of Crap

What would have made Hold on to Your NUTs better?

It's horrible. It needs to be totally redone.

Has Hold on to Your NUTs turned you off from other books in this genre?

Just about.

What didn’t you like about Wayne M. Levine’s performance?

It's horrible.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Anger and disappointment.

Any additional comments?

If I could give this a negative rating, then I would. The first 18 plus minutes is a freaking introduction...redundant...pure filler. Great hook used with NUTS. But, this guys NUTS are nothing but AFFIRMATIONS. Affirmations are stated that you should use at the beginning of program AND throughout the program. You got to be kidding me. Frankly, this program sounds like the author never had NUTS (literally or figuratively) or he hates having NUTS. After 43 minutes, I couldn't believe that I chose this program. It made me question "why" or for what purpose I purchased it. I've read better articles on the Internet. This guy's wife must have written or helped him to write this psycho-babble. It's so feminine. This audio programs needs editing. And can likely be condensed to 40 minutes instead of 4 hours. Both a waste of time and money for the buyer. The only NUTS the author appears to have were used in actually charging people to buy this crap.

The Secret Man Bible

Would you listen to Hold on to Your NUTs again? Why?

Yes, without a doubt. The information is beyond anything any man has ever told me. This is a must read if you find your N.U.T’s might have been raised in an estrogen world. This is a life changing book and I will read / listen on a regular basis for the rest of my life. This book will be shared with my boys, my male friends and has changed my life.

What other book might you compare Hold on to Your NUTs to and why?

None. Throughout my life I have not found a more powerful book that this. This is the “Man Owners Manual” For men only. It’s like getting a new man gadget / toy, opening a box getting out your tools and putting it together, but something’s wrong it’s not working. What do I do before calling the manufacture? Read the Trouble Shooting Section. “Consider this book The (which I would never admit) complete Trouble Shooting Section of being a man and how to fix it.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

He mentioned behavior things I have done or said, which I’m not proud of. Hearing it from another man really hit home. I am eternally grateful.

Any additional comments?

Thank you! I wish I had this book 25 years ago. This changed my life and the total respect for Mr. Levine. In a way I guess you could say that; who ever you are Wayne Levine I think of you as the father I never had.

Some great little "nuts"

What works for men is to have the courage to talk openly in a group.

It takes commitment and consistency to grow.

NUTS: Non-negotiable Unalterable TermS.

I will walk away when my wife belittles me.

Don't ask permission to be the man you want to be, you simply be the man!

Be aware of difference between NUTS and your little boys demands (defensive or needy).

Don't silence the playfulness from the boy inside you.

Emotions are reactionary where feelings are shaped. As you grow from your inner boy (defensiveness), you transition to a man (own and respond).

Collaborate with her to create Mutual desire.

Be the one your wife wants to have the affair with.

Preplan all your dates. Schedule them ahead of time. She wants to know you've put in a ton of thought.

Every Man's Simple guide to finding freedom!

Would you listen to Hold on to Your NUTs again? Why?

I am listening to it right now again. This is an ongoing life reference book. The first time introduces you to the ideas, but then you book mark all the tools and refer back when you need a little help or reminder, especially when challenged by your children, work, your woman, whatever.

What other book might you compare Hold on to Your NUTs to and why?

The Way of the Superior Man. Although quite different in approach, they both lead a man to becoming a lot more solid, steady, calm and strong emotionally so they can handle any situation that comes their way.

What about Wayne M. Levine’s performance did you like?

The pace was good and his voice is filled with passion for the topic, so that makes it easy on the ears.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I liked the personal stories as I related to many of them.

Reach down and grab them!

I highly recommend this book for any man who wants to improve himself as well as his relationships with others. If you're looking for sound advice on how to gain control of the 'little boy' inside yourelf and start living like the man you want to be, listen to this book. It's a book that you can quickly listen to in one setting, but you'll want to keep referring to it whenever you need encouragement and direction.

Wow!

It's a must read for all men..! The game changer for me was "silencing the little boy..." This book was a recommended read from a podcast I listen to called, "Hardly Initiated..." How fitting to be introduced to the book from men who are on a mission to "initiate" the men in their community. I have already applied several of the useful tools in this book & my How things have changed within myself & my intimate relationships...

Humbly yours, N.C.
