I have been listening everynight for one week now and have slept better and my pain has lessened. I recommend this to anyone dealing with issues of pain.
All I can say is that it's very strange to go months and months wearing arch supports because I have a painful bone spur in my heel, and then one week after listening to this recording, the pain is nearly gone. I didn't really think about it until it occurred to me that I was no longer having to wear arch supports every time I walked. To top it off, Glenn Harrold has a super sexy voice and I love hearing his soothing tones in my ears each night. This recording really works!
I own many of these recordings! unfortunately the two I purchased through audible sound very poorly recorded, and some of the clarity of notes and tones is lost. As these meditations rely on the music for their effect, I felt I wasn't getting the full benefits from listening.
I had rotator cuff surgery-quick procedure-horrific recovery (ask any Orthopaedic or PT person). I found when I listened to this meditation I was able to rest better and feel on top of staying pro-active.
I really like Glenn's hypnosis products. I like this one a lot because it really does help your mind's well being when dealing with a disease or illness. I do believe that some have the capacity to heal themselves, even though I have yet to be healed, that's up to God. But, I do like this anyway because it brings me to a place in my mind that I would otherwise not go.
Both of my knees used to hurt a lot, I'm helping with a good diet, proper exercises and listening to this and the pain is going away, I think it works because it got better the very next day I listened to this.
Glenn is amazing I have not taken Motrin since I started listening to this cd and I sleep so sound I have told at least 10 people about his CDs and they all feel the same way..... plus I love his voice
I started with Glenn Harold's hypnosis when I undertook to help myself with chronic pain. I found his voice quite spooky at first but learned to sort of smile after a while. This is one cd I return to again and again, as it is very effective. I find his images sometimes overdone and with the music, overly dramatic. It did lead me to more stripped down meditations, but they all seem to help.
"Just what the doctor ordered"
Works for me, helps you to relax. I tend to use this at night just before going to sleep and find I get a restful night and wake up feeling good.
"Call me a snob, but...."
I just can't take this seriously, the narrator sounds like a member of the Eastenders cast. I've really tried to get past it, but all the time i'm just waiting to hear "You going down the Vic later?". If your used to your doctor or GP talking like a market trader (apples and pears as opposed to stocks and shares) then this may be right for you.
