Rolf Sovik, Psy.D., is spiritual director of the Himalayan Institute and a clinical psychologist in private practice. He travels frequently in the U.S. and abroad to train yoga teachers and to lecture in a wide variety of yoga-related subjects. He is a regular contributor to Yoga + Joyful Living magazine and is author of Moving Inward: The Journey to Meditation and co-author of the award-winning book Yoga: Mastering the Basics. He and his wife are co-directors of the Himalayan Institute of Buffalo, New York.
