This audiobook is supposed to help you get to sleep, but it certainly didn't work for me. One thing that makes no sense at all -- at the end of the recording the author/reader counts down to the time to "wake up from your trance." Well, I wasn't in a trance to begin with, but even if I had been, the point of this recording is to help you SLEEP, not wake up.
One additional tip, though -- readers can safely ignore catherine's review. There's not a problem with the recording, the voices are SUPPOSED to overlap, that's part of the hypnotic technique that's supposed to target your "subconscious mind." I'm not saying that the technique works, but you should at least understand what it's trying to do before you complain about it.
I listen to this at least 4 times a week - works fasts and gives me the ability to rest with my 3rd shift work hours.
Benjamin's voice and cadence is the key to enjoying his programs. I have many of his programs thru audio since I have had continued success with the hypnotist.
Breathe in thru the nose and your chest expands. Breathe out thru the mouth and your chest deflates.
I have so enjoyed the self help Audible selections - I continue to use the ones I have already purchased. Plus, I always have my eye out on another one to enhance my development.
There is a problem both with the sample and the download. The track is doubled in the middle section ie. the speaker is speaking over himself. Otherwise I'd have found it useful.
