    "Absolutely stunning"

This is a book that can change a lot for a one who gives it its due attention.
    Wonderfully unique, clear and powerful.
I have gone through a lot of material on consciousness, spritituality, philosophy etc. in recent years, and this amazing book by this beautiful man is a real treasure.
I first opened a book with Krishnamurti almost ten years ago. I didn't get very far. Last year, I revisited his work, and I am so glad I did. So, be patient with this, if you have to.
I also highly recommend Krishnamurti's talks with Alan Anderson. I went through those sessions before reading Freedom from the Known for the first time, and it was a great prelude to the book. It may be just as good the other way around.
So, with this one, as Krishnamurti often suggest: go slowly and with care, and be serious.
    Good luck, and enjoy.

    "Great but audio needs editing"

The words and wisdom of J. Krishnamurti penetrate delusional thinking like a spear. The narrator delivers a pleasant neutral tone that is very easy to listen to. The production, however, suffers from poor editing as many first lines are repeated. Even if Krishnamurti had intended that, which is doubtful, the effect is still awkward and jarring. This recording deserves to be re-edited if possible and re-uploaded.

    "Profound and relentless"

Krishnamurti's message is far-reaching and unsparing. I've listened to the book three times now. Adam Behr's reading is articulate, but uninflected. Everything is said with the same emphasis, without discernible pauses. The material warrants a more thoughtful reading. The net effect is relentless, it gets a bit too much at times, and I've had to stop repeatedly just to take a break.

"Shook up my way of thinking"
Would you listen to Freedom from the Known again? Why?

This audiobook is tough to follow at first because the ideas are very abstract. But once you begin to unwind yourself in it, the real magic unfolds. It is very interesting and definitely a worthwhile listen. =]

    "Computer "

It's a great "book." Having a narrator's voice lessened the experience. They are only words but it's as if Krishnamurti was being read by a computer!

Very thought provoking. And somewhat freighting look at the humane brain, I would suggest this book to all my friend.

"I will listen again and again"

No, I don't understand in total. Truth be told, I sometimes don't think I even understand partially. But, what I do understand is shockingly brilliant.

A very innovative approach to the epistemological inquiry. Very easy to follow. Gives you plenty to ponder on. Recommended without hesitation.
