Great Joy Waits in Life's Greatest Battles
Joy is stamped on coffee mugs, sewn onto decorative pillows, even displayed on dish soap bottles. But what if there is a deeper power and purpose to this mighty virtue? Through vulnerable storytelling, a difficult diagnosis, and a good dose of humor, Margaret Feinberg reveals how joy is more than whimsy. It's the weapon you can use to fight life's battles. Fight Back with Joy will help you:
No matter what your circumstances, you can practice defiant joy. When you do, you will embrace a life that's richer and fuller than you've ever known before--a life radiant with joy.

This book has warmed my soul and has given me a deep desire to be a better person and sup with my Savior. I cannot recommend it enough!
God has used a number of things to get us through the last 5 years of fighting kidney failure, retinopathy, neuropathy, hyper tension and life threatening infections as a result of living a lifetime with diabetes. Caring for my husband has been as much of a blessing as it has been a painful challenge and self revealing. At this moment I MUST say this book has been to me like the BALM IN GILEAD! I listened intently repeating phrases and even chapters several times. I gave away my print copy and spoke to my women's group and explained how much they need to read even if they aren't "going through a crisis" at the moment. It has caused paradigm shifts, established a new paradox and changed my definition of joy! It's permission to go through this process and feel my emotions have given me freedom and its validations have healed spaces and places in my heart that were hurting! I cannot say enough, I cannot thank enough and I am overwhelmed with joy over the gift that this book has been to me and my husband...
A refreshed caregiver fighting back with Joy!
This book is for anyone struggling to be joyful in any type of trial. Her writing is authentic and raw with practical applications as well as thought provoking concepts. Margaret shows us how to cling to God and find joy in the midst of any storm. Very good but graphic descriptions of cancer and chemo therapy. she doesn't sugarcoat anything. It challenged me and I loved it because it put my non-life-threatening problems into perspective.
Combined with the same-titled DVD series used for my Bible Study group, I learned so much from the life of Margaret and the inspiration that the Bible provides for our day-to-day lives.
As a Stage II Breast cancer survivor, I found the way I related with Marilyn's story was profound. So many details I personally experienced she formed into beautiful words. All would benefit by reading this book, whether a survivor, patient in treatment or loved one or friend walking alongside the forementioned.
