The only way to get rid of a fear it to face it, and this book is a great guide for how to overcome the things that make you afraid.
The unique thing about this audiobook is that it does not only tell you to face your fears; it gives you strategies and a guide, including how to create a plan and use techniques that will help you to overcome your fears and find success; it will give you natural supplements and dietary habits that will get you healthily ready to overcome.
If you are trying to overcome a fear, I recommend this book. It will make the process much easier, and guide you to a happier and more fulfilling life!

Absolutely. It's great for getting me motivated before big decisions, or big events like presentations or job interviews!
What does Joshua Mackey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He adds an air of triumph and motivation that would be absent if I just read the text.
What did you learn from Fear: Overcome Fear that you would use in your daily life?
Specifically using hypnosis to dissuade fear. It's easy to forget that ultimately you are the one that has power of your emotions. No one can "make" you feel anything.
Any additional comments?
If you suffer from anxiety whether its social or performance based, this book has everything you need. Owning fear is actually very simple if you know what to do.

Fear means so many things
What made the experience of listening to Fear: Overcome Fear the most enjoyable?
I figure myself for a brave person, but when it comes to certain things, my hands will become sweaty and I will have trouble keeping still and steady. With the help of this guidebook, I was able to get my fear under control. Now I can handle anything that comes my way!

Eliminate All Fear From Your Life
Where does Fear: Overcome Fear rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Especially in relation to this topic, Fear: Overcoming Fear is at the top of the list. I loved that it wasn't as cheesy as it could have been, so my attention was engaged. However it's still an emotional topics and that roped me in right away.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The narrator had a variety of inflection that varied depending on the topic, however his enthusiasm was paramount and that made me really take note.
What about Joshua Mackey’s performance did you like?
Per above, his gusto for the content was apparent throughout the entire book.
What insight do you think you’ll apply from Fear: Overcome Fear?
I think the insight that I'll remember the best and hope to practice on, is just taking chances. You can only win from the advice in this book.

No More Irrational Fear after Listening
Would you consider the audio edition of Fear: Overcome Fear to be better than the print version?
I think they are equally valuable. Listening to it help it hit home a little better, but the many techniques of overcoming fear in the book are better accessed with the print version.
What did you like best about this story?
I appreciate all the different techniques on how to overcome fear. There aren't just a few, but many different things you can try. If one doesn't work, one of the others may.

Joshua Mackey always gives a good performance. Most non-fiction books on audio are dry, but Mr. Mackey keeps your attention with his voice inflection and sounds interested in the subject himself.

The author gives viable examples of fear and how to overcome it so that it is much easier to relate to. The many techniques and how to's are very valuable and do-able.

Helped me overcome my fear of social situations
This audio book really helped me overcome my fear of being in social situations and initiating conversations with others. I especially liked the deep breathing techniques described in the audio which really helped a lot! It also had some useful resources, such as using hypnosis to help overcome my fears as well. I have also applied the techniques to other areas of my life with success. Definitely recommended if you or someone you may know is not living life to the fullest because fear is holding them back.

Fearful people can become fearless with this book!
Where does Fear: Overcome Fear rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Out of all the audiobooks I've listened to, Fear: Overcome Fear is my second favorite. I have suffered from, as colleagues and family have called it, "fraidy cat syndrome" my entire life. But, since listening to this book, I can feel myself becoming more in charge of my fear and generally becoming a little less fearful.
What did you like best about this story?
What I liked best about this audiobook is learning the physical techniques to try when I am feeling fearful, which is listed in chapter one. The breathing techniques have actually really helped me, especially before I take an important exam in college, or when I ask my bosses for a raise! I will be honest, I still get worried when I do these things, but this part of the book has helped me improve my life so far.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Fear: Overcome Fear?
I have already applied the breathing and other physical techniques to my life from chapter one. I believe I will also apply the mental preparations from chapter two to my life as well, as well as creating an action plan to combat fear, which is from chapter four.

Ace McCloud did it again! Overcoming Fear has a lot of great tips and exercises to try to fight your fears. I am a very fearful of a lot of things, but thanks to this audiobook, fear does not control my life anymore. I believe this book will be a big part of helping many people who are overcome by fear to get over their fears and live a healthier, happier life.

This book has really helped me overcome fear
What made the experience of listening to Fear: Overcome Fear the most enjoyable?
The narrator really does a great job at reading the book. He keeps you wanting to listen and is very clear with no mistakes. This book was really interesting in that I learned you could fight fears with natural supplements, drugs and a proper diet.
What other book might you compare Fear: Overcome Fear to and why?
Ace's book , Ultimate Self Confidence. Having a fear has a lot to do with your confidence about yourself. If you can overcome your fears, you can surely gain self confidence.
What did you learn from Fear: Overcome Fear that you would use in your daily life?
Being able to manage the symptoms of high heart rate, high blood pressure and the lack of control that can happen when fear strikes.

The author does an excellent job showing you how to overcome your fears by providing strategies and techniques to prevent and conquer them! Great book for everyone!
