If every therapist and psychotherapist on the planet could repeat this to their clients, like a mantra, again and again, there would be fewer therapists and psychotherapists. Because it works. Very quickly.
Realising that what you're worrying about and stressing over doesn't really matter so much in the grand scheme of things is the door to freedom and healing. And the little profanity 'F**k It' is the key to that door. Ask anyone who's come close to death, or lost someone close to them, or discovered they have a serious disease and they'll say the same thing: that the little things don't matter, F**k It...
Enjoy life in every moment for what it is, not what you want it to be... worry less, live more... remember what's important and forget the rest.
John and Gaia have taught F**k It Retreats in Italy and around the world since 2005. They have taught thousands of people how to say F**k It: how to ease up, let go and feel the natural flow in their lives. On this audio book, they both present the down-to-earth process they teach during their week-long retreats. With their six-part process, you are guided through how to deeply relax and let go, then how to carry this out into your life.

It certainly has helped me to let go of what and who just isn't important, in the grand scheme of things regarding lifes journey, just makes a lot of sense...... lightens the load
absolutely loved it... it challenge me to start thinking about was does and doesn't really matter...
Enjoyed this book and feel that I've been living a fuck it life all along and have had people even critique my behavior. lost friends, family members and careers. But, that was all worth it. I'm so very glad to be reading my own bias. hehehehehe
Can tell you that I learned a great deal here and learned newer or more fuck it ways of being. So the book was helpful, funny and my husband is enjoying it too.
the spoiler is that you can even say fuck it to the whole process. you are perfect in all situations. two opposing ideas at once is key.
thank you John. will read/listen to more books.
Just a proud daddy of the most beautiful girl in the world
Simple easy to follow instructions to improve your life. and to boot very entertaining. The writer/narrator was awesome he and his wife are amazing
". f**k it a waste of money"
I listen to all types of audio books and can easily get through one in two or three days. I couldn't get through this one in a life time and I wish I hadn't bought it. I cant see how anyone can enjoy this book as its pretty poor listening.
Wouldn't mind my money back.
"Profane but not profound"
There's nothing original about the ideas in this self-help title - focus on what's important, not on what others think of you. If you're stuck in a rut, get off your a** and take some action. Find time to do things that you enjoy. Et cetera, et cetera.
However, the audiobook is an easy listen, and a lot cheaper than psychotherapy. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and reinforces the messages in an interesting way.
"No clever title! F**ck it!"
Funny enlightenment, designed to ensure that I can survive the daily tasks of folding clothes and washing dishes without wanting to hide in a cupboard and not come back out! worked for me!
"not for me"
annoying - took forever to get to the point!!! even then was not great
"Not my cup of tea."
Same old spiritual hoojah. If you are into manifestation and chi etc you'll probably enjoy it. I couldn't finish it though.
gaias voice threw me initially. but ideas were hood. wish you got accompanying pdfs of exercises.
"F**k It - I liked this"
I enjoyed the relaxed tone of the presentation. Yes, I know some people will criticise this book as offering little that's new, but it's nicely done, straightforward, tries to be realistic, and yet challenging.
He sounds relaxed, and I get a good sense of his character through his voice.
The original F**k It book was recommended to me some years ago, and it's only now that I've sat down to listen to its most recent incarnation. There's a lot of good stuff here: it may sound over-simplistic but the core concepts are sound. If you're into this kind of thing. Which I am.
