Good book, should've been edited for audio

Would you listen to Every Thought Captive again? Why?

I liked it well enough that I've bought the paperback (planning to return the audio). I was just hitting the "bookmark" button too much and decided I'd be better off with paper. It was actually annoying to listen to because it's obviously being read directly from the book. I really think it would be better if it were edited for audio (not referring to the reader or a section you read, etc).

Would you be willing to try another book from Jerusha Clark? Why or why not?

Maybe - if it were on a topic that interested me

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jerusha Clark?

The author as reader was fine. She has a pleasant voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It definitely made me think. I was hitting the "bookmark" button frequently (which also means it wasn't good to listen to while driving!). This is actually what's prompted me to return it and buy the paperback.

Any additional comments?

The content is good. If you're a book-marker with these types of books, you may prefer paperback.

This book is not what it seems.

I bought this book, thinking it was written from a spiritual viewpoint, only to find it is written from and about the Christian faith. What a dissapointment ! She should have entitled it "How to be a good Christian woman, and not burn in hell". If I had purchased it in hard copy, I would be back at the store expecting a refund. Deceptive.
