I read the hard copy which was just brilliant - however, now I have the audible version I can listen to it again and again!
It's like having my coach with me all the time. So easy to listen to and now i can simply dip in and out of every time I want to just recap on the handy tips to keep me on track,
A must buy,
"Cutting-edge, accessible, and practical"
Both audio and print versions are excellent-- I purchased both because I learn best with repeated exposure to materials in multiple formats.
I especially appreciated the presentation of essential aspects of emotional resilience like self-worth and how it is created over time in our lives.
The discussion of group empathy was novel and very useful or my work with teams within organizations.
I felt inspired to practice the concepts Geetu introduced and to teach them to others.
Emotional Resilience is a worthwhile addition to anyone’s library for three reasons: (1) it introduces and explains leading-edge concepts surrounding emotion that are relevant and meaningful for personal, professional, and organizational success; (2) many of the ideas presented are nuanced and complex from a psychological standpoint, but they are presented in a manner that is accessible, understandable, and abundantly clear; and (3) it provides practical, ready-to-use information, both in terms of the author’s deep experience as to how these ideas work in the real world, as well as strategies, tools, and exercises that allow readers to learn and implement them. I will be recommending this book to my family, friends, colleagues, and clients for years to come.
