"A must-read for anyone who's tired of feeling frustrated, lonely, jealous, or emotionally tense. Dr. Orloff shows you how to achieve a lightness of being and feel more positive and peaceful. Highly recommended." (Deepak Chopra)
I love the overall message of the book. I needed to hear this. I’m glad I listened to it, but by the end, I have to admit, I was feeling a bit of information overload. There is a lot of repetition in this book, so it isn’t always easy to stay engaged. I would suggest buying this book and listening to the chapters you most need to hear – whether you are dealing with depression or constant frustration or anxiety or whatever. Listen to what you really need to hear right now, and save the rest for a later time. Focus on applying that one chapter to your life. It’ll be easier to absorb the information that way.
The spiritual aspect of it all,
The depression chapter
It was great . I thought she was Judith.
That I am an empath , and not tooo sensitive. I will cherish that forever. I am wonderfully sensitive and there are ways to cherish and nurture that truth about myself.

The information and narrator were good for this type of book. Everything was presented in orderly fashion, easily understandable, and thorough. Worth the second listen to to absorb specific parts bookmarked.
Thank God this was an audiobook. I would have never got through it if I had to read it. Very disappointed I used to 2 credits for this... only worth 1 in comparison to other works. There are nuggets of goodness but you have to wade through a lot of nothingness to get to something. I am sure the author knows her stuff but the reader is forced to wade through lots of none essential information to get to the point.
It says Bill but these reviews are by his wife, me, Debbie. I am into healthy eating and 'truly' loving one another.
No book ever has it 100% but this book certainly is extremely helpful. I find it very good that the author uses herself as an example so many times, proving to me that she is not just saying things, she actually relates. Her stance on spirituality seems very open and I like that, to me, this is as it should be. With an open mind anyone can find help in this book.
Excellent read! Very helpful and a pleasure to listen to as well. Highly recommended for people looking to understand why they feel react and do the things they do.
Really positive, uplifting, life changing. It has helped me through various negative crises in my life.

I do not like that this psychologist. She talks too much about herself; also, talks too much about unimportant things. Some of the things that she talks about are nice and help me with my problems, although it would have been better if she would not talk so much about uninteresting things such her dreams and self imagined abilities to read people's minds and dreams. Also, I do not like her voice, it's hard to understand.
