"No one I know has more spiritual, relevant, and useful information for leaders than John Maxwell." (Olan Hendrix, Management Consultant)
"[Maxwell] can help us all become more effective as people serving the Master Leader, Jesus Christ." (Jack W. Hayford, The Church on the Way)
The author is on track with the book and is very insightful and almost inspriational at times throughout the audiobook. It contains the common sense approaches to developing the managers and or leaders around you. It expounds on the benefits of utilizing his methodology. I would recommmend it to all.
The author outlines a great plan for leadership development of subordinates as well as developing oneself. I plan to look into his other books.
The author should not read his own book. The audio quality felt like it was recorded in the 1940s, rather than the 1990s.
All good points, but the style of the book is just that, a huge list of bullet points. While Johns voice is clear it comes across sermon like and I had to speed it up to be tolerable. I found it boring and not able to hold my attention. Needs more story to sink in. I know he is a well respected authority on the subject but this just book did not do it for me.
The concepts are amazing, I loved hearing the author read the book, it was incredible and I keep listening to it over and over again!
the whole book
"The sound is muffling. The content is good"
It is quite to listen to since the sound is muffling. After that, it depends on your will power.
