Our Wisdom Scientific Self-therapy audio programs are not "audiobooks", "lectures", collections of "positive affirmations", or like anything you have used before. These programs are deliberately designed to be repetitive. Do not expect them to entertain. Do expect them to up-grade your quality of life, making you happier and your relationships more successful. We have developed what we believe to be the most effective audio programs ever made to help you develop a healthy mental attitude and master the practical skills necessary for success. We know they work well, many people have told us so. Each program is easy and simple: listen for eight minutes a day for about three weeks and directly apply what you learn. People have told us that using Wisdom Scientific Self-therapy audio programs they have learned to stay calm and improve their health, increase their happiness, and strengthened their relationships. We believe you can do likewise. Try it. You have nothing to lose except some unwanted sadness!

Nothing new here except the marketing and repackaging of things you probably already know. Basic message: if you have clinical or "real" depression, get professional help. If you have "common" depression, change your thoughts and defeat it.
Reminds me of a "simple to build" balsa airplane I bought when I was a kid. After falling for the advertising on the box, I opened it to find instructions which said something like, "Begin by carving a fuselage from the large block of balsa wood to match this drawing." Needless to say, if I could have done that, I wouldn't have needed the kit.
If you read even a little bit of depression self help advice you won't need this kit either.
This is not a set of tips, but a set of subliminal recordings. It did seem to elevate my mood slightly for a brief period. Otherwise, like so many similar items, it just seems silly.
This book was just what I was needing and looking for.
Not found one to compare to yet.
"It has to be a joke? Surely?"
Never would I give this author my time of day again
It's patronising, it's ridiculous... If you act happy you'll be happy? If your sad because you have a low paying job, quit, go to school & get a better one, if something happens and it makes you sad, look for positives.
If it were that easy to beat depression we wouldn't be looking for help from an audiobook.
