It takes some time but it's well worth the result. Took about two weeks for the results to start and now (a year on) I only use it when needed. There is a spot at the start of chapter 4 that will wake you up again if you play the whole thing through. I find the best results if I skip to chapter 3, set the snooze the snooze for the end of the chapter then skip back to chapter two.
I've tried about 4 different hypnosis products for sleep and this was the one that works for me. I highly recommend it.
I was thrilled when the eye fixation technique actually worked ! I wish it were on a track of its own without the long story on track 4 . I often go straight to that track. Last night. I started with chapter 1 and advanced it past the introduction. I woke up with the earbuds in my ears still and the chapter had finished and I didn't remember falling asleep, but had thought I was going to have a hard time doing so. I have recommended this CD to others. it has helped me in the way I thought it would I only hold back on giving 5 stars because I think the layout of the chapters is somewhat confusing. I appreciate very much that there is no distracting background music of any kind.

There are some things I like about tjis, but his breathing instructions are super fast considering he's doing a sleep instruction so it was a total waste... made me crazy it was so fast. And the deal with going down into lungs was silly... so much he could have done but this did nothing for me
I liked some of his other stuff, but not this.
Consider the audience and objective.
I've had a terrible time sleeping the past few months and decided to give this a try. It works some nights and not so much on others. The author's voice is very monotone which probably helps it work more effectively in hypnosis. The price is right, so you don't have much to lose. I know I was willing to try almost anything.
I'm sleeping much better on the whole, with some exceptional nights of sleep such as I haven't had in years. I use the recording on my Kindle with headphones and find it easy to navigate between the different sections.
I noticed that some people said that they were disturbed by the Audible announcement at the end of the book, but this hasn't been the case for me.
I recommend this recording to all with sleep problems, but also to people who wish to use hypnosis to work on health problems or other issues (the 'healing' section, the 'sweet dreams' and 'creative sleep sections').
