Americans just need a good's night rest! In fact, the National Commission on Sleep Disorders reports that sleep deprivation costs $150 billion each year in higher stress and reduced worker productivity. Now one of the foremost researchers in the field of medical hypnosis, Dr. Steven Gurgevich, offers an all-natural remedy on Deep Sleep with Medical Self-Hypnosis.

realy boring. boring. boring. really boring. still boring. oh my god its boring. bored me to death. boooorrrriiiinggggg. bored out of my listening mind!!! ugh!!! is that 25 boring words yet
I've struggled with sleep problems for over 20 years. I've seen all kinds of Dr.'s and taken far too many sleeping pills. I can't believe Steven has solve all my problems! No more drugs or Dr. appointments. I've been using Steven's audio to help me sleep for about 6 months now. I listen to it 5 out of 7 nights. Now, I'm sleeping within minutes of turning it on. My problem was I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't fall back to sleep. Now, when I wake up I just put my headset on and I'm all set. I feel so much better in the morning. Instead of dragging myself out of bed in the morning because of the sleeping pills, I'm refreshed and ready to go!
I dont know his voice took a second to get used to and i fell asleep to it but then woke up to the next chapter because of the music. good for relaxing i guess.
something self help or sci fi
the guy who does all of orson scott cards narrations.
relaxing to a wake up. i wanted to stay asleep.
good audio book but just all talking and then some music in between the chapters.
I only used it once about a month ago. but I got the best sleep I'd had in a long time.
I need to use it again!
Does anyone have any suggestions of good ear buds for sleeping in?
There are some things I like about tjis, but his breathing instructions are super fast considering he's doing a sleep instruction so it was a total waste... made me crazy it was so fast. And the deal with going down into lungs was silly... so much he could have done but this did nothing for me
I liked some of his other stuff, but not this.
Consider the audience and objective.
I've had a terrible time sleeping the past few months and decided to give this a try. It works some nights and not so much on others. The author's voice is very monotone which probably helps it work more effectively in hypnosis. The price is right, so you don't have much to lose. I know I was willing to try almost anything.
I'm sleeping much better on the whole, with some exceptional nights of sleep such as I haven't had in years. I use the recording on my Kindle with headphones and find it easy to navigate between the different sections.
I noticed that some people said that they were disturbed by the Audible announcement at the end of the book, but this hasn't been the case for me.
I recommend this recording to all with sleep problems, but also to people who wish to use hypnosis to work on health problems or other issues (the 'healing' section, the 'sweet dreams' and 'creative sleep sections').
Highly recommended. Don't think of it as New Age or a 'last resort', this audiobook will take you through tried and true methods for achieving deep relaxation, for turning off an overactive or anxious mind, and for allowing imperfect sleeping environments to become less distracting. In short, it works.
There is no way to navigate through the sections. Way to hard to use in any practical way.
The book is fine but it is not functional in this format.
This is one of several books I own to help me sleep, and for the moment it's the most effective. I like the quiet gentle voice and the words are soothing.
