This is a wonderful book, in that its focus is to help the listener to explore how, where, and in what exact manner, God may be 'calling' him or her in life, to serve in a way that is most personally satisfying. The things we love most are also the things that God can best use, through us, to assist others. This is one of the best self-help books I have ever read along spiritual lines. And it is clear that, if one truly considers the questions the author asks, one will come very close to discerning God's 'calling'.
My only criticism, and it is a severe one, is that the narrator speaks so fast that it is very very difficult to think about, or consider, anything that is being said. The content of this book deserves a slower pace, in order for the listener to digest what they are hearing. For this reason only, I give this book 4 stars. Otherwise, I'd have given it 5 stars.
I had great hopes for this selection, but after listening to it for a couple of days, I just couldn't finish it. I found much of it self-congratulatory, and the author simply rambled on and on about her own experiences. Just when I thought she would get into an exercise, she would digress once again into her own accomplishments or personal anecdotes. Skip it. Spend your money on a better selection such as "A Simple Path".
