The narrator speaks mind bendingly slowly

It's not the Hypnosis. It's just bad narrating. She speaks so slowly it's like she thinks the reader is cognitively impaired. I don't know how this got such high ratings because this is not a typical Hypnosis recording.

Too general for my taste

Super for those who are interested in general recorded positive thinking for playback. But I picked up this because I thought I would learn to create my own personal Affirmations.

listen first

Yes, these are based on proven techniques. However, they are one man's perspective and suggestions of what affirmations will help. Not every person will resonate with each affirmation included. For myself, there's a few that just don't resonate for me, which stops me from playing it while sleeping.

Overall, these include a nice variety of suggestions, some about intent and others that are practical.

Some of Hyang's books have a male narrator with a rich deep voice, but not this one. On the other hand, I appreciate the setup in this volume, with 3 different formats, in particular one without the music - which is sadly seems to be the same in each one of these.

I can recommend these Included meditations, with the caveat that you listen through once with conscious thought, before you start programming your subconscious during sleep. They're decent for the price.

Good explanation in last chapter

Background music did not overpower the narration. The big thing was Chapter 3---a nice explanation of actually how to best incorporate affirmations.

Boring

Sounds more like a sleep story. Very boring. Good to help you sleep. Not sure it works for writing, though
