Great Wooden Narrative, Carty ... Good with Reservations

I coach and work with coach development. Coach Wooden's pyramid should be a standard knowledge in all coaches' professional development, and Wooden's narrative is warm, humble, honest, and inviting. Five stars across for the book's treatment of the pyramid. Carty does a fine job integrating a biblical and life-lesson application, but his treatment of "faith" and "success" were highly disappointing. Reason? Carty's Protestant bias of "only Christians in heaven" is a horrible dualistic point to end on after we have built a long narrative about relationship, respect, and humility. I understand the book is from a Christian publisher. I also believe in my Christian faith tradition that who and who is not in heaven is way above any human's "pay grade." I think the book is worth sharing for so many of its good qualities. It would be a shame if that thorny judgement stuck in people's hearts instead of all the rich human and divine wisdom imparted herein.
