It was simple to follow, encouraging, uplifting, inspiring. I am in the middle of menopause and have gained 30 lbs in the last year. It didn't matter what I did I could not get the scale to stop going up. I figured it almost had to be something medical. I was eating less, exercising like crazy and NOTHING! I have a family where all of the women on both sides have gotten into their 50's and blossomed up to 180 to 300 lbs. I did NOT want to go that direction.

I am living his carb cycling Classic version. I have lost 14 lbs as of today and feel awesome with tons of energy and motivation. I travel between 7 states and work in the restaurant (pizza) business so you can only imagine how hard it is to not get fat. I thought I was snacking in the car on low calorie things, but my boredom of driving gets the best of me at times. Plus when I do eat I eat HUGE quantities. More than my husband.
I actually purchased the audio version. Since I often drive up to 1000 or more miles a week I have listened to it 4 times so far. Each time I listen I gain a little more insight. My goal is to get back down to 140 lbs. I was up to 178 lbs and now down 14 in 2 1/2 weeks. I have 24 lbs to go and with the weight coming off this fast I see it possible by autumn. Thanks for giving me hope that I wasn't predestined to go through life feeling the way I was.
Sure! I love listening to him.
The story part of this is great. He tells about how he met his wife & that I didn't expect. What I was disappointed with was the PDF. I'm not finished with the book yet & there are already things missing in the PDF he refers to. I listen commuting to work, so I can learn while I drive...just can't take notes!
