There's a very good reason why this book was written. In a world where there are so many pressures, it was so clear to me that people no longer see the true choices which are available to them which allow them to be happy. Positive thinking isn't always as obvious to people as it should be. In fact, the pressures put on people to "excel" or to "achieve" forget the major principles which need to be applied within a lifetime in order to feel happy and fulfilled. The temporary pressures of feeling good have begun to be blurred by material possessions and by trying to live up to standards set by someone else. The media gives people the impression that self-image is everything, but then go about destroying what self-image is all about by dictating how people should look, behave, and present themselves.
The book gives a lot of examples and also clear advice on all the different aspects of happiness and the state of being happy. While many may judge themselves as being "happy" are they really? The book shows how the different elements which affect happiness can be influenced by positive thought. It even goes as far as suggesting exercises to help people to attain a state of happiness and to understand the method used in positive thinking to overcome obstacles.
If you have the slightest doubt that you have experienced true happiness, the book will help you to work through all of the different aspects which make up the puzzle. It covers life skills, interaction with other people, the way that people see themselves, and the way that self-image can be improved to provide happiness. Positivity is the key element which is missing when happiness levels are at an all-time low. The unique approach of the book chapters is to use a system of scales to help readers to understand the complexity of their lives with much more clarity.
There has never been such an all-encompassing attempt to show readers the benefit of positive thought.

I enjoyed the tone of voice on the recording as well as the content of the book.
My favorite part is how this book breaks down examples of negative thoughts or behaviors and then breaks down the counter part to each "negative". This is so helpful. We can normally pin point the negatives but we are not always able to see the flip side of the coin.
Ambyr's tone is something that you would not get from reading the book. It brings something to the table.
This book places emphasize where it needs to be - on the positive things in life.

I like the audio because I can listen to while driving. Usually I am driving to work and it is the place of most of my frustration so it helps me forget about the bad and think of the good !
Empathy: placing yourself in someone else's position. Seeing/feeling/reading the other side of the story and trying to understand what another persons perspective is. Positivity, how being positive versus unhappy can change how you feel even physically.
It is all good. The goodness of life.
I will use this as a go to guide when needed. A refresher and will keep it my car, the best alone time I have and a great time for inspiration.

I love collecting self help books. This one deserves 5 stars because the author explained the things to love in our life. After listening to this book, I am more thankful to my simple life. Being happy is not being rich, it is being satisfied with the life we have.

The most effective method to accomplish honest to goodness genuine bliss can be heard throughout this audiobook. I liked how it covers a great deal of thoughts regarding creating one's quality, overcoming negativities, fortifying our own aptitudes & aptitudes, and sympathize putting our feet on other's shoes so as to know, feel and think the way that people see themselves.
Life changing book
The best part about this book is the fact that anyone has the ability to choose to be happy. Sam Siv does an excellent job providing understanding that life does not always go our way, but he does an even better job explaining that it is okay. Things do not always go our way and there will be times when we want to think of things negatively, but that we should not. Therefore I am taking away an outlook change from this book and I could not be happier.
