I would recommend this book to anyone that wants/needs a little lift emotionally. It is just a feel good type of book that helps you realize who's in charge. Love, love, love to put my headphones on and just sit back and relax to these beautiful stories the author has shared with us.
While there were a few noteworthy stories in here, having to wade through the truly terrible ones required a greater virtue of patience than I possessed. Some of these stories were really that bad.
The most disappointing thing was the stretching of rather mundane occurrences and making them out to be something of the miraculous. The level of writing was frankly poor.
about 32 of the stories...

Kathy Garver. Holy cow! Her voice is so annoying. Tom Parks only read 1 or 2 stories and she did the rest. And please Kathy, stop doing character voices. They were so ridiculous and over dramatic! Every time she would change her voice into a character, I wanted to throw up. People driving near me in traffic probably thought I really was, because I continually made "throw up/gagging" facial expressions every time she did it!! I was so focused on her annoying reading, I couldn't feel very good about the stories; some of which almost seemed too ridiculous to even be real. I mean, did they even fact check any of these? They seemed very fictional, and I'm a believer!
Julia Whelan...Tom Parks can stay, but he needs to read more!! Why did he only read 2 stories out of 36??
No; and not because of the stories...because of Kathy Garver.
this is the first in the series that I have listened to. My son and I listened to the book on the way to school and doing errands in the car. We absolutely love the stories which are so refreshing after being barraged with bad news all day long from so many sources. We loved that there was a mix of stories in the book. We especially liked the description of the angels who helped the people. The stories emphasised the goodness of God and the reality of His helpers - our angels.
