I really love Glenn Harrold's audio-hypnosis series. I have a hard time falling asleep at night and these have REALLY helped. That being said, I didn't really have any expectations about it building my self-esteem. I'm more relaxed, I sleep better, I win, BUT as I fell asleep to this, I would notice myself being nicer to me throughout the day. Catching myself in a mirror and smiling, "hey, you look nice today," which then made me laugh and still does, so improved self-esteem, viola!
As I said, I really like a lot of his downloads, but you have to be careful, because some have this crazy energetic music and he wakes you up to feel energized, great, etc. Obviously you can't listen to those before you go to bed. But after a long, exhausting day at work when you know you should go to the gym, but you really want to take a nap, listen to one and you will be amazed. You really do feel rested and restored enough to get your butt off the couch and to the gym. Hope this helps.

I bought it, listened to it, and as soon as i was done i felt the burdens lift away and my eating disorder disappear, I deleted all the files I had on my disorder and I feel absolutley AWESOME!

Glenn Harrold's audio selections are very helpful in understanding oneself and one's mistakes, and in forgiving oneself and feeling good about oneself.
I am listening it for over 30 days everyday and what I can say is that I do feel better about myself just by doing that everyday... sometimes i fall asleep but the dialog and the music are really positive and relaxing ...
I am not changed dramatically but I can see it as a additional tool to self growth practice

There is really no "story" but it is very soothing and for me it seems to have triggered a little something in my mind, in which I seem to very more positive about my self. I am "glass half full" type of person when it comes to live, but as far as my self esteem, I've always struggled. This book seems to be changing that. Give it a try, got nothing to lose. :)
Build Your Self-Esteem reconstructed my self esteem immediately. I listen to it at least once nightly because I have seen the results.
The day after the first listen, I saw myself, pictures of me, by hands, feet, body totally different.
I have this built in voice now that demands respect, from myself first and then from others.
I would give this as a gift to people I deeply care about. It's an investment on one's self.
This was my first Harrold download and has led to several more. Be aware it has two chapters, each slightly different, the point being you might prefer one to the other in accordance with your goals.
I downloaded this as I had read good reviews for it here on audible. Listening to it, I had my doubts if it would work - partly due to Glenn Harrolds voice - which as other listeners have said, isn't as you might expect. It did work and I found myself feeling good the next day, and more confidant/less nervous in situations I would have found uncomfortable before.
