Although it's a good book potentially deserving of all 5 stars- no book is that perfect except Al-Quran.

Best book I've read -- maybe in my life!

Derek captures the essence of what each of us secretly wants to know about eliminating our BS stories and becoming real in a very clear, concise, take-no-prisoners kind of way. This book is about learning to become an adult human being who can BE, at all times, his/her greatest self. I will listen to this book over and over again, and I will recommend it to anyone who sincerely wants to create a great life!

You'll need a shovel....

The author has a brilliant approach to exposing your BS. In fact, you're left with no choice except to acknowledge its existence and then what you do from there is up to you. You aren't left hanging, quite the opposite, you'll know the next steps to take.
The information is awesome, but the brilliance is really in the delivery. The passion of the author comes through and tagged with the occasional joke here and there, it keeps the energy and flow going in such a way that it's as entertaining as it is educational.
You'll be shoveling through your BS and living a more enlightened existence in no time.

What I needed to hear

Absolutely loved this book. The hilarious moments were a great plus for me. It's unique and exactly the kind of book I needed at the right time. I will definitely be re-listening throughout time or when/if I get stuck in my mind with my own bullshit. Thank you Derek for writing and sharing this book!

This truly shows how powerful the mind is

Being able to recognize, redirect and avoid obstacles is a great skill. but being able to do the same thing within ones self is an awesome feat. This work helps you do that in an entertaining and direct way. Breaking though your BS will give you an understanding that will help you get through the traps that you set for yourself.

Great book, too many #'s

Excellent information, forces you to see things in many different ways. If you are willing to receive the information it will expand you and your thought process in a very healthy positive way.

The author tries to be a little hip , snarky and funny and it takes away from / interferes with the overall message. Which is great I might add.

#get rid of the hashtags and stop talking like my 16 year old daughter #just sayin'
