Get it and listen for yourself. Its free and worth the short story that you can listen to on the commute home in one day. Really, just get it.
This is not a book so much as it is a 26 minute commercial for books by Tony Wrighton , Michael Heppell and Glenn Harrold. I am sure that Mr. Wrighton , Mr. Heppell and Mr. Harrold were not trying to do anything nefarious. Perhaps this should be classified as an interview with these authors rather than Brand New You.
Let people know it is a description and a lead-in to the possible purchase of other books that you may enjoy, NOT an actual book in itself.
Yeah, I know it's free, and it's worth every penny. This is basically an advertisement for the author's other audio books. I'll admit there are a couple of helpful tips, but the narrators speak so quickly that I had to slow down the playback speed because their pace made me feel anxious. Though normally I feel quite the opposite, in this case I found the narrator's British accents to be very annoying. Good premise, badly executed.
Great tips and given concisely in a direct and uncomplicated narration. I've always loved British accents and this narrator does a really good job. I assume his is the real thing.
Yes - I would suggest this book for the short listen and positive message.
I will be listening to this again and taking notes.
There are wonderful ideas and references given.
Relistening is a great refresher to keep the ideas active in my life.
I appreciated the explanation of goals working more thoroughly if set on a subconscious level.
I enjoyed the authors giving specific steps to undertake to move forward towards those goals.
How to state your desires and goals in proper language and how to act on those goals.
Of course you get the wonderful voices, but also the excitemenr and emotion of each speaker.
You get a feel for the gentlemen themselves and for what they and their ideas can do for you, how you may connect.
I was energized, excited.
Recently I participated in a couple of online seminars about using your life to better potentail and getting healthier, finding one's purpose. The information in this audiobook is equally as valuable.
"It's not about having the ideas - it's about acting on them." But that's not exactly an original idea.. And I find it disappointing to use another speaker / writers work to market your own (I'm more likely to download and utilize the speakers you've presented as experts than yours .. )
36 year old father of 3 boys. I was diagnosed with MS in 2009. I served in The United States Marines for four years. I believe that the only way to beat MS is to educate yourself about the disease but most importantly, educate yourself about being a more positive person.
I hate reading so yes I would consider the audio edition better.
It is hard to compare since it is not so much a book as it is an interview. They give some suggestions of books to listen to so I will check them out.
The upbeat motivating tone.
This is a quick listen with a lot of great advice. I have more notes from this 26 min book than some 2 hour long books.
Loved the book. Very motivating and inspiring.I became a much better individual after reading this book. I was able to introspect, and self critique
"Little bit of a lift"
We have all heard it before but this short book is a nice little boost for your mind to help lift you up and get motivated its nothing special but did leave me feeling positive and I have even changed a few of my ways so I can't really knock it. Give it a go, as you have nothing to lose.
"This is Really a Good book and you see Urself."
This is really a good book and i recommend this book to everyone and worth buying it .
"The gift horse is missing its teeth"
OK OK, I know it is harsh to judge a free book this harshly, but I have to be honest here. This self-help book didn't teach me anything and did not inspire me, and that is what a book like this has to do. There are so many books in this field that you shouldn't waste your time on this one.
"Worth listening to"
Lots of tips and advice
Short, sweet motivations and a great reading list. I took more from this than I anticipated
"Good free info"
A good free book with some good tips and good interviews. Has given me some good ideas for future books to spend my credits on! Can't ask much more for free and it's only 30 mins too!
"Very good book"
Very nice. It was short, had some good tips, and was very upbeat. A perfect 30 minute (I'm rounding. It was about 26+ minutes) filler while I worked.
This is quite simply the best and most important book I have ever read. small but very effective and giving you positive fellings.
