An ideal starting point for those interested in Buddhism, Being Peace contains Thich Nhat Hanh's teachings on peace and meditation.
Using real examples from his own life as well as poems and fables, Nhat Hanh explains his key practices for living "right in the moment we are alive". These lessons are taught with fine writing and sparkling phrases that draw the listener in and make Being Peace an audiobook that encourages multiple listenings.
Still as timely as when it was first published over 25 years ago, Being Peace is a revelation for anyone concerned with the state of the world and the quality of life.

Be aware that the essays in BP are not fluffy or feel-good. In fact, the need for activism and "engaged buddhism" are key themes, and the reader is challenged both to be peace and to do good in the world. In particular, this book is a must-read for parents and parents-to-be.

Fantastic, so much information on so many relevant topics. I have read several books by Thich Nhat Hanh but this one is my favorite.
Thich Nhat Hanh has such a simple way to explain things. Pointing out many things that are so obvious but I have never noticed before.
Edoardo Ballerini narrates this book in a warm friendly tone, very easy to listen to for long periods of time.
This book is exactly what I needed, it showed me how far I have come and that I still have a long way to go :-)
I highly recommend this audio book. Evidently there is a 20 word minimum on review text. Good thing this book teaches about living judgement free or I'd call that a stupid, arbitrary rule. Peace.
