    Story
"Decent advice for many situations, not all."
Would you try another book from Conrad Potts and Suszanne Potts and/or India Fisher?

I wouldn't rule it out, but I think I got what I was interested in getting from this topic.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The advantages of practicing assertiveness, and distinction between assertiveness and aggressiveness is a good reminder.

What aspect of India Fisher’s performance would you have changed?

    Not an issue.

Do you think Assertiveness needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

For some maybe, not for me.

    Any additional comments?

I think this book is great for people who err on the passive side, but if people err on the aggressive side in tone, body language, or facial expressions then I feel like the wording this book suggests as examples may still come across aggressively. I think more finesse can be achieved to marry assertiveness with diplomacy and social tact.

    Story
    "Robotic narration"
What would have made Assertiveness better?

A better narrator. Less of a "documentary" style manner would have been good.

What was most disappointing about Conrad Potts and Suszanne Potts ’s story?

It was very clinical and I didn't feel like I connected with the book at all.
It reminded me of those boring documentaries you used to have to sit through in school.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Robotic voice was distracting and the content delivered very systematically. I couldn't finish the book

What character would you cut from Assertiveness?

    n/a

    Any additional comments?

    Interesting information just poorly delivered.

"Not that good. Some useful bits."

This book wasnt that great. I wish it had more practical techniques to make you assertive. There was too much story telling talk.
