"Shannon's perspective is sunny and bright and will light your day with heart and bliss!" (Kristine Carlson, author of Don't Sweat the Small Stuff)
I was hoping this would be motivational along the lines of Elizabeth Gilbert, but I this book left me feeling more like I was in a yoga studio for the 5 hours I was listening with more motivational mantras than storyline. Pretty good reminders of basic motivational principles up through chapter 10 (that's as far as I could go).
The feeling of a new "take" on empowering lifestyle
the overall feeling of positive insights
It was all good
thanks for a fantastic journey
The entire book can be summarized into "love yourself," "be present," "let your true self shine," and other woo-woo buzz words that do nothing for someone trying to develop themselves and their business acumen. The only reason I bought it because it was recommended in the top 5 reading lists for entrepreneurs on entrepreneur.com. I trusted that site, but a degree less now due to this very weak piece.
